We didn’t expect hot weather, it being January, but after 5 days when the wind dropped, the sun was hot.
The accommodation was cool inside, but with the wood burning stove on and a heater, it got really cosy for the evenings. It was very private and quiet and peaceful for us, only hearing farm machinery working locally. By the time we left, we had settled there and would happily have stayed.!
A car is needed for this property..it has fantastic views from a hillside, is south east facing so gets all day sun. It is set in rural countryside but the villages of Santa Lucija and Kercem are minutes away which have smaller food stores. Victoria is also very close where we had a much bigger variety of shops, restaurants and larger very well stocked food stores.
It was quiet while we were there..that suits us, but if other visitors want busy, I can imagine it to be full on in summer with a bit of congestion in the town.
We visited all the main sight seeing spots, both independently and on a “hop on hop off” bus. We also did lots of walking around our accommodation, coastal walks, and did the Comino ferry trip and had a good day walking around the island.
Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.
