We've stayed here a few times before and looked forward to staying here again. As usual, the rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. The bar food was a bit expensive for what it was. We had a curry and fish and chips. The curry didn't appear to be freshly cooked, and the bread was a pitta that was hard around the edge. Fish and chips were good but the mushy peas had a dull skin on top. Ok though but just not for over £40 for both. Breakfast a little disappointing. Fried eggs very rubbery, dry mushrooms, cold beans (probably caused by the cold plates) and machine made tea and coffee. The juice tap didn't work for the apple juice. The spa area was lovely, great pool and steam room/ sauna. Staff were helpful and pleasant although behind the bar, the lady could've done with some help as she was very busy.

The first time I’ve stayed here for a few years as id started to use the Hilton in Ashford recently. Very impressed with this hotel now. It’s had a makeover and I’ll now be switching back. Very nice stay and very friendly staff too… excellent stay

We hv stayed there a few times . Hotel is good but poor staff training for bad staff and some ppl in front desk .we have nothing against people enjoying themselfs but room near us was very noisey till about 5.30 am we tried phoning didn stairs to tell them no answer our broke Phn ?

Birthday weekend

The public areas such as the lobby was very clean, modern and welcoming. Gym was great for a hotel gym I was very impressed. Spa facilities were okay just abit cramped. Everywhere in the hotel was new apart from the rooms and corridors which were abit dated and felt abit old & dusty. However bed was very comfy.

Lovely stay in Kent

Lovely stay in the heart of Kent. The pool, steam room and sauna added that little bit of extra luxury. The hotel room was very comfortable and clean. We are in the Horizons restaurant and the waitress was very attentive. The food was amazing and service was quick. Cooked breakfast was a bit dry. I would say get up as soon as breakfast starts for a fresh one.

Great value and an enjoyable stay.

This is a great hotel in an ideal location for onward travel to France via Eurostar or Le Shuttle. The check-in was fast, friendly and efficient. The staff were all very helpful and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of parking too.

Dog friendly good parking ideal for le shuttle Understaffed with mainly youngsters. Clearing tables was either not a priority or staff too busy. Tables dirty and food on the floor in the bar area.

Stopped on a Thursday night en route to the channel tunnel to avoid a mad rush before our crossing on the Friday morning. We have stayed preciously but not for about 10-12 years. Hotel was nice, clean and said everything as listed - dinner in the restaurant was a bit so so, but overall not bad for the price we paid. Would stay here again.
