Wildlife and views

Glorious location with wallabies on the lawn, rosellas in the trees and walk to everything. Very well appointed property - gas log fire was lovely in the evenings. Highly recommend.

Weekend away

The property was lovely, just as pictured. The wildlife around was such an extra surprise! We had a power out (just an unlucky coincidence it was out in the region) however didn't dampen our stay. It would have been great if there were working torches available for us to use however we made do. There was everything we needed and we enjoyed a lovely weekend. I would suggest a later check out however neither here nor there, just makes for a more relaxed end to the weekend. We have some lovely memories of our trip thank you.

Holiday cut short

Property great - stay not so due to sudden lockdown so only stayed one night from booked four. Radio silence about possible credit due to lost nights accommodation. Managing agent as bad. Great when we had an issue while on site but not otherwise. In fact they tried to say we’d be ok going home at end of stay even though we’d have to travel more than five km lockdown allowed. Who was going to pay the penalty. Not them.

A peaceful and relaxing retreat for friends

This was the ideal location and house for a group of friends who have known each other for many years and who wanted the opportunity to spend time together. Every couple had their own bedroom and en-suite. The location is peaceful, the view of the ocean relaxing (especially the sound of the waves), the bird life was amazing and only a short drive to Lorne or Apollo Bay. We all agreed that we would like to return next year. The facilities go above and beyond what we would have expected. Even to the smallest detail of torches and umbrellas. The only exception would be the lack of wifi but we were able to hotspot a phone where necessary. Overall, we could not fault the property and it is a credit to the owners.

Great annual holiday house

We have stayed in this property for several consecutive years over the Australia Day weekend with a group of families and keep coming back. The house is perfect for a large group as it has multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge areas both upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen is really well equipped, has all the equipment you need to cook great meals and an excellent array of staples. The view is fantastic! The decor is a bit dated and not to my taste but you hardly notice that as the house has everything you need and is really comfortable and well set up.
