I was disappointed. The room “with no view” was of 3 huge dumpsters of the adjacent hotel. I got stuck in the “slow” moving elevator twice....almost had a panic attack as the doors would not open......rang the bell numerous times, and no one even heard....(somehow I managed to open it) I told this to the people at the nearest desk (it could of the been the activities desk, and no one even cared....said nothing..... I asked for a late check out in the morning (for another hour.... till 11:00am) I was locked out of my room 15 minutes passed 10:00am as I was carrying my belongings to the car and going back for my last things....The front desk said the keys automatically lock after 10:00am and that I, should of come and updated my key... they never told me this in the first ... I had to then wait for security for go and open the door... Not treated nice by front desk.... the 1 and only hut tub is closed. The restaurant is closed.... So we ended up staying at the Hyatt, where all of these amenities are open! The only thing I like at the Waiohia is the Beach.... where we can go and swim for free, with our own Umbrella and beach chairs. Which we did another day.

Clean, very quiet. Very friendly staff, customer service oriented, knowledgeable of the area for activities.

Location was excellent. Property is very nice but they give the priority to the timeshare owners! They sent us to the furthest building and overlooking the parking. They told me they had nothing else available which I don’t believe. I found the front desk not helpful and cold. The cleaning crew were nice. We had no view and didn’t use the balcony once.

This is our 4th stay at the Waiohai Beach Club in the past 5 years. The difference this time is that instead of staying in a time share suite (which we typically trade into from our time share), we stayed in one of the "hotel" rooms on the property. The room was so unremarkable that it could have been a Marriott hotel room in Kansas City which made the price we paid hard to swallow. Plus, the few "hotel rooms" on the property are apparently next to ALL maintenance doors/closets/facilities in which the workers all love slamming the doors to at 6:00 AM...I'm on vacation people! I don't want to be awoken by a bunch of slamming doors and people moving heavy equipment. What's amazing is that the time share suites are quite the opposite and we love the Waiohai otherwise

W stay here for 3 night. The hotel location is perfect for all. The beach is amazing . Also very spacious room feel like home.

This is the perfect hotel for families or a few friends my villa had 2 bedroom, 2 baths, a full kitchen, dining room and living room. Each room also had a private deck and plenty of parking. The shop in the lobby had food or you could walk to a shopping villa. There was also a great place right by the beach to get hamburgers and the resort had 6 grills for you to use as you like. The only down fall is the resort did not offer a shuttle but there were a few companies around that offered shuttle service.
