The hotel is calm, no disturbances, Was less crowded during the stay. Breakfast is not up to the class. Dishes are limited. English speaking staff is available. Its very difficult to arrive at the hotel as the route is narrow with single line traffic and no proper arrival area in front of hotel.
Positives: Free pick up/drop off transportation from/to airport was efficient although the staff waiting for myself was not very friendly at all. The room was clean, will most expected facilities such as cable tv, air con, mini bar, ironing, etc, although these facilities have seen better days-dated. It has a swimming pool, a 'casino' and some restaurants at the ground floor. Negatives: Staff attentiveness, friendliness and attitude seems to be mixed. While I have encountered some staff who are friendly and helpful (frontdesk), others seems to brushed me away when asked for assistance (one waiter at the restaurant was extremely rude and couldn't be bothered to look at me when I have politely asked for tea). Also, the person (not sure if he is staff of hotel or airport) who escorted me with my luggage from the airport to the Radisson bus, demanded that ai gave him tip for his 'service' of escorting me. He even waited and kept staring me from outside the bus of which I eventually gave him money. Irrespective if he is Radisson staff or not, the real Radisson staff with the sign did direct me to this weird guy. The menu for room service was extremely limited. The restaurant food was ok but go early, as after 8am, you will be fighting for a seat and clean plate.
Went to have dinner here during our visit. We were told by them that they serve indian veg food. But when we went, their menu only had 2 veg dishes....one paneer and one dry potato. Had to order both these. The food was not good. Did not enjoy at all. Were greatly disappointed.
Well located hotel in a street a little away from the chaotic traffic of this city. Good service, good food. Tha faucet of the bathrooms is somewhat deteriorated. It has a single operating elevator which is a pain. In summary, good place to expend a days before and after the Everest BC trekking.
I expected more of one Radisson hotel. My biggest complaint is related to the stuff who is pretty untrained and not friendly enough. The rooms are pretty clean but all hotel need some seriuos update. The food is fine. However the hotel can be ok for couple of days stay.
Good location for a single women traveller. friendly staff. Fitness Centre is awesome and the view from the TOP makes the workout so relaxing . It would be good to have more in room dining options , especially for people who want to eat healthy
Few minus but many plus. Check in should have been 2pm. But it was at 3pm. Reception staff requires much understanding. Specially the hotel gets in prime tourists. Room given in main building. It is very old, poor maint.and cries for much renovation. Poor bath room with leaking faucets. No electrical points for charging. Had to go down to request for extn.box . These are minus.of course they offered room in new wing but later. New wing in a different building. But it is isolated and no life thete. Plus points and positives. Extremely good staff in restaurant , in the bar , house keeping. Very friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome and makes up for all the other minus. Wish they keep the rooms renovated and the standards of Radisson kept up.
I stayed here last year, but my most recent experience did not meet the same quality level. I had a standard room that faced toward the main street from what they still refer to as the "new" building. The sheets had visible stains. The closet had just 3 hangers (I was on business for two weeks). The courtesy bathroom was torn and had rust stains. While not as much of a problem last year, during this visit I had a very hard time getting hot water in the shower. I think this may have been due to being on a low flow. Finally, on the weekend, a nearby nightclub blared music to all hours of the night. I will say that the staff service was still very friendly and the breakfast remained good quality. However, this in no way matched my prior experience as the product offered was substandard in the ways mentioned.
Unprofessional Behaviour of Staff, no one was willing to provide any service and not willing to listen to customer complaints. Facilities at the Hotel were also not upto the mark. Overall my family had a Bad Experience and we will not consider any Radisson property worldwide for stay in future.
I booked three time hotel taxi and none of them offer good car and even one of cars didn't have A/C. It seems that hotel taxi actually is 3rd party private car and hotel can't manage them well. Other service are generally well, such as room, service and etc.
