A huge hotel, vibrant, excellent spread of buffet meal, good staffs ! everything is simply amazing, a great 5 star hotel. I personally feel rooms in old wing is preferable, though rooms are new & contemporary type in new wing, this is more for business traveller. Our of the hotel has good souvenir shops to take a stroll. Overall highly recommended !
Cozy rooms, I was impressed with the pleasant smell, everything is spotless including the toilet, prices adjusted to the luxury offered by this hotel, you can not ask for more,It was nice staff who tried in all ways to make us feel at ease recommended
Rooms are horrible to stay in and food is like icing on cake most horrible food in Kathmandu. I hope Radisson will take their name away as this hotel makes radisson name look bad. They have no customer service and they only concentrate on getting new guest the forget the existing guest aren't staying for free.
I was originally provided a room in the old building. It was in need of some updating. There were insufficient power outlets; the internet was weak; the fuse for the rooming was triggered three times in 15 hours. i asked to move and was placed in the new building. The room was of international standard. Breakfast in the Fun Cafe was disrupted by tour groups of 50+persons arriving at the same time for breakfast. Kitchens and wait-staff could not cope. You can find better hotels in Kathmandu for an equivalent price.
Dear All, I would like share my experience with Radisson Hotel Kathmandu Nepal, This is too much worst hotel in Nepal, they don't care their own customers and staff people don't have the manner talk with customer, room service is too much worst, they worry just only for, how they can make money from customers. Thanks & Regards Arvind Kumar Jain
very relaxed and comfortable stay. The way to the hotel is lined with small cafes , money exchangers and a supermarket. Indian currency is accepted everywhere except 500 INR . An excellent Buddhist SPA is right next to the Hotel. must try
Although parts a little "tired" we loved it. The people were very friendly, food very good, rooms very comfortable. It was an easy walk to the centre of the city so it is a a good place to stay to see the sites.
Radisson Hotel at Kathmandu is a large luxury 5 star hotel about 7 km from airport. The staff at the reception are very polite and efficient and the entire staff are well trained and oriented towards Nepali hospitality. Rooms is quite large and the 2 king size cots in every room are clean and indulgent. The bathroom is small and toiletries limited. Hotel serves an excellent and lavish breakfast. Overall great stay experience.
Moved me to three different rooms in the first week due to maintenance issues with no offer to move my belongings for me. I had to insist. I got stuck in the elevator. Hotel shuttle left me waiting for 30 minutes past scheduled pick up. Bathroom in room offered no privacy as curtains covering glass walls were bent. At no time did staff offer compensation or accommodation for the inconveniences. It would have been much better for example, had staff simply said,"we are sorry we are moving you for the second time, why don't you have dinner while we shift your belongings."
I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights during a conference. Rooms are spacious, clean, good wifi connectivity, nice ambiance and clean beds. The breakfast and dinner buffet had plenty of options. I enjoyed to food everytime. The hotel provided airport pickup and drop which made commute hassle free. The hotel also has a casino -- not much recommended. Overall I had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Recommended for short stays!
