spend a little more and stay elsewhere

group of 5 traveling together and booked 5 separate rooms. the condition of the hotel and rooms are extremely outdated, old, and to say the least odd. One of the rooms had a fishy smell and the staff was less than helpful to switch rooms or clean the room. one of the rooms had the shampoo and body wash next to the toilet instead of the tub. it was impossible to take a shower and reach the soap. the only good thing about this place is how close it is to the mrt. there are not alot of restaurants or activities near the hotel.

It is quite close to the Kaohsiung Main Station, but there’s only one way to reach this hotel. No nearest bus stop to Kaohsiung Main station from the hotel The staffs are nice and they have lift (which i personally think is very good). The room was ok, the bathroom was abit old and not enough lights in it.

You get what you paid for

Keep in mind this is similar to a rundown motel in the States. The rooms are more like an open bay office building divided by partitions. The ceiling are those office building square tiles, shared among all the rooms on the same floor, so you can pretty much hear the television and people talking next door to you. The exterior doors are similar to hollow bedroom doors with the gap at the bottom covered by a rubber material. The plus side is it's only about 7 minutes walk to the night market.

Its off the main road and between 2 tube stations, so u ve to walk a bit from there. They have refurbished just the outside of the hotel but inside it is aged n shows cracks n the wooden floors are ups n downs here n there, inside the bathroom some tiles on the wall n the floor have cracks n stains that can’t be removed, the staff are friendly. The hotel has a smell of mould especially the storage room where they allowed u to leave your luggages before check in n after check out, don’t leave food in your bags there, from what I seen I bet the staff also used that for their personal belongings. However the hotel is really ageing n need a thorough refurbishment of the inside

sound proofing really a problem

12-15mins walking distance to MRT & Bus Station, 15mins walking distance to Liu He night market. Room cleanliness is good, have daily housekeeping service, comfort pillow & bed, air conditioner extremely cold. Soundproofing for room is horrible. I can hear shower sounds, mattress creaking sounds, room clean up sounds and voice from next room, is really disturb my sleep. if you are ok for noise then go ahead with this hotel, else look for other.

The cleanliness of the room was well maintained througout my stay. Though I didn't interact with the servicd crew, I commend the quality of service they offer. The hotel receptionist is very accomodating. Basic hotel aminities are available. They don't have heater though which is understable because they don't experience very cols weather frequently. The location is within walking distance to the train station.a

It was cheap. You get what you pay for! The staff seemed nice, but I found a few fleas jumping around. Eww. The air conditioning worked well, and they provided a mini fridge, a few bottles of water.
