Cigarette smell smoking is forbidden but I think the guests do not comply. Small step in front power chair has to be lifted. Help very nice and checkout was noon!

Rufuses to Stay Due to Poor Room Condition

Upon arrival greeted by polite attendee. However, room smelled strongly of mold, mildew and cigarette smoke though all rooms were non-smoking. We asked for another room, and it smelled just as bad. Room is dated, dark, and windows were extremely small. Fortunately, a refund was given as we refused to stay in a place this dirty and unkept.

Cheap Hotel in Less-Than-Great Condition

Didn't realize this was going to feel like a "love motel" rather than a boutique spot. Odd smell and you shower by spraying yourself down while standing in the Jacuzzi tub with no shower curtain or door. The water sprays all over the bathroom floor. It was cheap, so it may be a fine option if you're aware of the condition. I did appreciate the free laundry on the first floor since I have been traveling for a few weeks around different cities/hotels. Staff was nice - no problems there.

Very nice hotel

A very nice inexpensive hotel. Despite not speaking English well (or in case of some, at all), they were extremely nice and tried to help as much as possible. But really, in this city almost no one speaks English (I had to play charades with a taxi driver to explain the word "airport"), so one can't really fault the hotel for that. The room was fairly large and comfortable, although it would have been nice to have a shower curtain on the bathtub so that the whole bathroom isn't wet after a shower. My room was facing the backs of houses, so it was rather quiet as well. The internet is top notch, the breakfast is ok, and the location is very close to the river. I was very happy with my choice.

Helpful Staff, no Buffet

They were very helpful. Every time I needed help, they would find someone who could speak English well to help me. Allowed us to keep our bags there while we went around Kaohsiung. The breakfast was very good but it wasn't a breakfast buffet, as stated on this website. We got to choose a specific breakfast from a list.

Very nice hotel

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is very close to the metro station and in walking distance to many restaurants and the night market. It was very clean and looks recently refurnished. The furniture and facilities looked very new. The staff speaks some English and may help you with directions. The name of the hotel looks different on the name plate and the web site, so look around for the river hotel, river side hotel or river fashion hotel.

如果你是商務出差的話，很適合到這邊，這邊價格便宜有浴缸還有附贈早餐，對於出差來講CP值很高，但如果你期待的是高級酒店的裝潢或是整潔度，那可能要求就有點太高了。

Cigarettes smell in rooms, changed rooms third times still the same. The final one, the bed was too small. It doesn’t look like an ordinary hotel, but a motel for short stay (you know that 😏). Eventually had a full refund.
