Our German partners enjoyed rooms furnishings and comfort and restaurant for breakfast. We like this hotel as a good value. Service is reliable, location is convenient for local restaurants. Only problem was huge queue for lifts in afternoon probably to a group returning. Two lifts working. Waiting 15 minutes for a lift is never acceptable. So you lost a point for this.
Spent a night at the hotel. Staff were friendly. Room was a little dated and not sound proof at all. Room aircon was't working as well as it should. Location is good I suppose but make sure if you're using Uber, to choose the right hotel because there's a hotel with a similiar name just across the road.
I was in this hotel ten years ago. With good memories l booked it again. Thanks good ambiance, facility and service helped me recall the nice time here. I still like the location, the feeling to be like at home and the amenities in the room. Hope to be back again!
We love stay here. Every day. Every month. Every year forever. My child love to go your hotel swimming pool and your buffet breakfast. We also love your room services such as fruits, water, tv and coffee.
The hotel is very clean, and neat. Staff are very cooperative and nice and helpful all the way of my stay. Close to the main city and metro district. Able to be accommodated immediately. Highly recommendable to friends and family.
Located in the center of Kaosiong. For walking, Family Mart and 7eleven are just 5 minutes away and Xinjuejiang is also 20 minutes away. There is also shoplots nearby. The interior design is nice and there is indoor garden in each floor. The only improvement that I would suggest is, improve the sensitivity of the lift. I am the third person (only me and my parents were in the lift) exit the lift and the lift door suddenly close when I was exiting which caused bruises on my hand. However, overall I will still rate this hotel as a comfortable hotel to stay in.
I liked this hotel for the price, nothing fancy no problems. No noise very good sleeping environment the bathroom was better than expected. Breakfast was average. Overall not bad for the price and sleep.
We stayed in the Budapest family room with 2 queen size bed, with my parents and a 8 months old baby. A friend who was there at the same time, also stayed in similar room. The room looks quite old but it's clean. The complaint that I have is the bed (which I have is the most impt). 1 of the queen size bed is extremely hard, like sleeping on the floor whereas the other one is super soft and bouncy. We didn't sleep well on both nights. There's a family mart diagonally opposite the hotel and it's a short distance drive to most attractions like the night market or most shopping area. Hotel is about 20mins away from the airport. And we parked opposite at the sister's hotel car park, Lees hotel for free. If I were to go to Kaoshiung again, I will probably not stay in this hotel again. But if budget is a constraint, then this is actually quite value for money. Service of the reception and bell boy is good.
Found and booked this hotel on Trip Advisor - nice hotel. Spacious lobby - attractive and bright. Arrived at the hotel just after midday but advised the rules are check in not until 3pm regardless of the room being ready or not - a little disappointed by the attitude but plodded off to have lunch first. Returned at 3.15pm and given my key - told my room had been upgraded. Went to my room and found it to be quite spacious. Certainly was the biggest room on the floor so I was pleased. Decor in the hotel is essentially European with classical art in the corridors. Nice decor. Good air conditioning throughout. Bathroom nice and large with a bath tub - love the tub - just the place to collect your thoughts for the day. There was a illustration on the wall that I mistakenly thought was from the karma sutra - it was in fact guidance for Chinese guests on using the bidet! There was no soap in the bathroom and no toothbrush - wouldn't have notice had I not forgotten mine. The wifi worked excellently in the lobby but was not so good in the room. Sure it connected but I had great difficulty downloading and uploading attachments - not so large ones. However I took my laptop to the area adjacent to the lobby and all download well. There was a nice table to use as a workstation. Friendly reception staff. Helpful at writing address in Chinese and calling taxis. Bell lady very sweet. Great jazz bar entertainment in the bar on the opposite side of the road to the hotel. I enjoyed my stay even though it was difficult to find good restaurants in the neighbourhood. The hotel was considerably cheaper than I would expect to pay - for a modern botique hotel I believe this represents good value for money. Entertainment - my phone started flashing at 1.20am - all in Chinese so none the wiser!! A few minutes later an earthquake - room shook for a while but withstood it without disruption despite being strong enough to wake me up. Good hotel - great value for money.
Everything looks nice at first. But when you settle in things aren't so great. First off evening front desk staff was not friendly at all. Second the beds are as hard as rocks. Third the internet is horrible. Fourth the bathroom were not very clean. Fifth no drawers to put your clothes away. Sixth the air condition blows too strong even on the lowest speed. The only reason I gave two stars was because room service and maid staff were very kind and professional.
