Courtyard Kansas City Overland Park/Convention Center

Perfect location to Overland Park convention center! Right across the street! Usually I hear people going up the hallways talking & carrying on, but it was surprisingly quiet!! Beds comfortable & very clean. Staff , especially Miranda, was very pleasant & helpful! Directed us to restaurants. She was a delight!!!

Great hotel. Clean, nice staff. It's your typical Marriott and it doesn't disappoint

All the stuff I expect from a hotel (good water pressure, comfortable bed, iron and ironing board) and on the plus side the room had both a king bed and a sofabed. However, the hotel does not provide free breakfast.

We were disappointed there was not a lounge. Usually we receive at least one free breakfast when we stay at the Marriotts. Other than the above, everything else was great.

Booked a King-sized bed with Sofa sleeper with living area, thinking it was a suite. It was not. It also listed Complimentary, which I took to mean Breakfast (since that was part of the narrowed search). It was $9.95 per person. Expected more from a Marriott, but I guess we got what we paid for at a discounted price. Pool is small. Staff was excellent, however, and the bed was comfortable.

Seems like you could never find someone at the front desk. Once I sat at front desk for over 30 minutes, and could see the phone was taken off the hook laying on the counter top and nobody was around, I gave up and went back to my room. We had to request extra blankets for the pull out bed, we tried for 45 minutes to get someone on the phone, without fail I had to go downstairs and wait another 30 minutes just to be helped.

Spent 1 night at the Courtyard by the Convention Center. It was a great location near Metcalf Ave. with plenty of food options in the area. Well priced and rooms were very clean and nice.

very well done.. It was a little clunky to find as there is another one right in the same area and it is tucked off the main street. After you realized it the location was very acceptable. The hotel had very helpful staff.

My family includes my husband, 8-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter and we were in town for a marathon. The Courtyard was located 5 min. from the start of the marathon and was perfectly situated for us to access restaurants, movies, shopping and sightseeing. The room was super clean and large enough for us to spread out: 2 queen beds plus a sofa/sleeper. The exercise room was good and the pool and spa were both clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast deal ($11 extra per night) was a steal! We are definately telling our friends about this as we've not had a better stay. It fit our needs perfectly!

Nice experience - friendly, knowledgable staff who were able to give us directions to the mall and Deanna Rose Park.

FIGURED FOR A HIGHER END HOTEL THAT THE AMENITIES WOULD BE A LITTLE BETTER

This was a quick one night stay on our way home from TX to MN. After our stay in Amarillo this hotel was a welcome reprieve after a long day of driving. We got a great deal on two rooms for our large family and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We had ample room, an infant crib was provided, and we had a hot breakfast in the morning. The children enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool before we checked out. There were several places to unwind after our long day on any number of couches and chairs in the lobby. We loved it! It is a beautiful hotel.

The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful. They allowed us to check in early so that our 2 year old could take his nap and they also offered a portable crib. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were comfortable, quiet, and clean, and the indoor pool/hot tub was very enjoyable. I also wish I would have brought my tennis shoes because the fitness room looked top notch as well. Very happy with our stay and would reccommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Very clean hotel, Nice clean rooms comfortable beds. Great concier service

I had assumed that a Convention Center hotel would have had a bar - the market price for a small bottle of wine was $16! too high. The breakfast buffet was very expensive also. For a 90 dollar room, I would like to have had a free breakfast or inexpensive one. We did feel pampered.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. Having a restaurant in the hotel makes a good breakfast so convenient--a great way to start the day.

overall it was ok

guest handbook in room did not have dining information/options complimentary internet access a huge plus front desk staff: EXCELLENT SERVICE

The hotel is right across from the Overland Park Convention Center. Down the road about a mile or two is a new shopping center which has tons of great stores. We were only about 20 minutes from Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri so the location is great. The hotel was very clean and roomy. Each room only has land-line internet access, so sitting on the bed and surfing the internet isn't an option. They do have Wi-fi in the lobby. The pool and fitness center were always clean and had towels. The hotel was very quiet. We never really heard anyone else in either room beside us.

The service wass great especially the late staff asa they helped me in every way
