Disgusting hotel

Absolutely disgusting, soon i walked onto the 2nd floor i was hit with a wall of ashtray stench. Not even trying to hide the smell with any type of deodorizer, just pure cigarette smoke. The room 215 was an absolute nightmare. The door knob was caked with ash/dirt/dust. The carpet was hardly vacuumed, visible accumulated dust and grime, the ac was also caked with dust and smoke. Turning in the ac was like turning on your own personal smoke stack, it was either on and stanky, or off and hot and stanky. The walls were carved by lets say much use of the bed scratched along the wall, the tv was barely hanging on the mount and was also caked with dirt. The walls also had the smell of smoke permanently themed. There was trash under the bed, and the sheets were an off white/tan color. Surprisingly the bathroom was clean, but the amenities were bland generic non scented, unable to get the smoke smell out of my hair from sleeping there 1 night, thank glob it was only 1 nignt. This was by far the worst hotel i stayed in during my 1 month in Japan. Avoid this hotel at all costs, 150 a night was an absolute scam. Its funny they dont allow photo uploads for reviews to prove the condition of the room.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great selections on the amenity bar in the lobby. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Having a small fridge and a decent hair dryer in the room make life easier. Other notes: Super close to the train station, and a big Starbucks. Vending machines and laundry facilities on the main floor. A microwave and trouser press on each floor next to the elevator. Physical keys have to be left with reception each time you leave. Ice is sold by the front desk. ¥150 for a sealed container that looks to be about 500g.

super convenient

very well located, 8min walk from JR station. clean room and super high speed Wifi: ~96.3Mbps/Down and ~248Mbps/Up. Quiet area, breakfast is japanese style. Room information in the room is very badly translated into English, but the staff do speak English to a certain degree.

The Trend is brand-new (since December 2018) and has a good location about a 5-10 minute walk from the station (depending on your age, walking speed, amount of luggage, etc.). We booked a Twin, non-smoking room. Good things: along with the hotel location, beds were large and comfortable. OK things: Room size .(small) was standard for Japanese hotels in this price range. Staff was mixed - some staffers were kind and accommodating, others operated "by the book." Breakfast was reasonably priced, but only Japanese food was available - might not suit all visitors. We didn't like: bathroom size - ridiculously small. Check-out policy - 10 am, with an extra charge to check out an hour later.

ベッドから鏡が見えなくてよかったけど鏡の前に椅子が置けなくて化粧は洗面所で。全身鏡がないのが残念。衛生面を考えてマグカップ無しで紙コップの対応だそうで理解はできるけど暖かい飲み物を入れるには弱い紙コップだったのは残念。2泊して部屋の清掃はいらないと言ったら飲み物をもらえた。寝心地は良い。駅が近くて立地も◯
