We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are amazing and very clean. The hotel is in a quiet area which we liked. We chose this hotel as it’s in a quiet area, as I unfortunately have stage 4 Cancer, so wanted somewhere where we could rest and relax. This place definitely fitted that. The food is also amazing, as are the staff. The staff were all very helpful and were very accommodating, especially as we don’t speak fluent Dutch. We are already planning our next stay at Christmas! Cannot wait to return. Thank you for a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

The hotel is situated in a dreamy location right behind the dunes. The spa area is very clean and truly top-notch! However, the breakfast leaves something to be desired with limited choices and lack of quality: No fish, no cheese platter, no fruit salad, no premium breads, just basic rolls. There's room for improvement! The rooms were tidy, and the staff was always very helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel, good location, breakfast nothing special. We missed even some simple things as fried eggs or fruit salad. Sauna is charged extra per person 19,50€ per Day. Bathrobe 8,50€ per day. I’m used that sauna is included. Especially once fotos are shown on homepage.

Is this a swingers hotel??

Positive: close to the beach, friendly bar staff Negative: no utensils in the kitchen. You can rent for 35 euros - never delivered in our case. TV remote control not working - we were told they could not fix. SPA: we got thrown out; you have to be naked, listening to audiobooks on phone not allowed, to avoid camera is used.. no bags allowed (unless transparent which incidentally is sold at the hotel) to avoid filmcameras. We felt superuncomfortable..

All good. Just one thing destroyed everything. At the checkout, I asked if I can stay until 12, but the lady at the frontdesk told me, in a cold way, no, u have to pay additional 50 euros and u can stay until 1pm. Because they are fully booked. First of all, they are far from fully booked. All type of rooms are available on all booking platform to book. So dont treat others like this. Second, the service quality is really bad at this level. You could just say, yeah; stay a few minutes would be fine. Or something more soft. Last, 50 euros for 2 hours? What a joke??? And also, most hotel check out time is 12, not 11! So this lady kills all. Really destroyed the experience ….

Als Wellness-Hotel war das Hotel insgesamt wenig überzeugend: dunkle Lobby, wenig einladendes Zimmer mit defekten Vorhängen, nicht akkuraten Gardinen, die einem das Gefühl gaben, in einer etwas ramschigen Unterkunft zu sein. Ansonsten war das Zimmer kalt eingerichtet, man hat wenig auf Ambiente und Wohlfühlen Wert gelegt, da hilft auch eine Nespresso-Maschine nicht weiter. Die Minibar war leer, dafür gab es dann einen überteuerten Snack-Automaten in der Lobby. Das Frühstück war auf Massenabfertigung ausgelegt und erinnerte mehr an eine Jugendherberge als an ein Frühstück in einem Wellness Hotel: Das Rühr-Ei schien aus Eipulver, bestenfalls aus industriell hergestelltem Ei aus der Flasche zu sein, der Speck dazu hatte auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen, nur um zwei Besonderheiten zu nennen. Der Preis für zwei Nächte war mit dem, was hier geboten wurde, absolut nicht zu rechtfertigen und muss als absolut überteuert bezeichnet werden.

Das Zimmer war leider ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und das Hotel ist meiner Meinung nach keine 4,5 Sterne wert. Im Zimmer funktionieren einige Lampen nicht und auch einige Silberfische waren im Zimmer. Es gab keine Zahnbürsten auf Nachfrage und allgemein war der Service sehr schlecht. Am ersten Abend haben wir noch im Hotel zu Abend gegessen, wurden aber 30 Minuten lang nicht mal nach etwas zu trinken gefragt, sodass wir dort nicht noch einmal hingegangen sind. Anbindung ist aber gut und das Frühstück war durchschnittlich. Im gesamten Hotel riecht es aber auch nach Chlor aufgrund des Wellnessbereichs (den haben wir uns aufgrund des Zustandes der Zimmer erst gar nicht näher angeguckt).

Als uns die Lage unseres Zimmers nicht zusagte, haben wir sehr unbürokratisch eine deutlich bessere Suite erhalten. Sehr guter Service. Wir waren dort einmal zum Abendessen. Sehr lecker und ganz tolle Spare Ribs. Was m.E. wirklich nicht geht: Das Frühstücksangebot war sehr lieblos. Wir waren 5 Nächte da. Relativ eingeschränktes Angebot und immer. immer das Gleiche. Noch nicht mal am WE etwas anderes. Das ist bei Fletcher wohl leider so, im Januar waren wir in einem anderen Fletcher-Hotel, da gab es wenigstens ein wenig Abwechslung. Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Banjaard-Strand ist toll (wir nehmen uns sonst dort ein Ferienhaus).
