Nice setup. Great wth seperate sleeping area for adult children. We were dissapointed that our daughter wasnt able to connect to wifi for a work meeting. Text in ad and reality not quite matching. Owners dont live close anymore. Which is not a problem but house was missing a good clean when we arrived. Great firewood we had to use since it was cold every morning.

Wonderful accommodation. Not the easiest to get to, but very much worth it! Owners were helpful and easy to contact. Property was exactly as described and was clean, well stocked and everything was very easy. Make sure you get your groceries before arriving! Highly recommended.

Amazing!

We had a winter escape in Jo & Troy's beautiful bach and loved it. The fireplace and the bush bath were the highlight. The bach is also very well-equipped with all the cooking essentials you'll need. If you're visiting in colder temperatures, I recommend you bring some slippers as the floor can be quite chilly. Highly recommend :)

Fabulous Retreat!

A wonderful vacation in the beautiful NZ bush. Troy and Joanne were wonderful hosts and the house was a perfect retreat for the Easter weekend. The outdoor bath was fabulous. We look forward to staying again soon!

We had an amazing stay! The house was absolutely stunning. Beautifully presented and incredibly comfortable. The hosts were warm and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. We’d love to return again!

Summer family holiday

Had a lovely family holiday here. Property is well-equipped, with plenty of food storage space, and flexibility around sleeping arrangements. Peaceful surroundings, and really easy to pop down to the water. Kayaks were fantastic for us

Very nice batch in a great location surrounded by forest . The loop track is 1,5 hours and gives you access to the native bush and a nice pool to cool down.

Just loved it

You can just walk in, relax and let it happen. This property is well thought out, with plenty of opportunity for privacy as well as inviting communal spaces. Superb thinking in having 2 loos and 2 showers! The outdoor fire was a real winner with us and the walk at the back of the property was a nice morning ritual. A great place to just go and stay. Troy and Joanne were friendly and helpful and very discrete. We actively encouraged the dogs, otherwise they would have been equally discrete. We would go back happily.

Awesome bach

Troy & Jo have a super Bach which is perfect if you want to spend a few days enjoying everything that Pelorus Sound can offer. The standard of accommodation is very good and showers and cooking options are excellent. Troy was an excellent and very helpful & responsive host. We enjoyed our visit and would certainly consider returning if we visit Marlborough Sounds again.
