Great place for families!

We stayed at the Honua Kai unit for spring break and loved it! Great spot for families. Maui Resort Rentals made the whole process so easy. Check-in and out were a breeze. And they were available and responsive for our questions. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to a friend.

Enjoyable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. We loved the mix of beach and pool time. Our condo was lovely and well appointed. We had everything that we needed for a lovely vacation. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at the Honua Kai Resort in Maui. We have stayed at the property before and have enjoyed the establishments. beautiful beach, restaurant, pools, parking, unit well furnished though the couch is getting a little old and good amenities in the unit down to the utensils. Easy to work with the management company and accessible. Will be looking forward to our return at the Honua Kai.

Another great stay at Honua Kai

Great place to stay for family! This is our 2nd time stay here. The pools are wonderful, on the beach, and close to everything. Highly recommended.

Hawaii Maui Trip 2022

It was clean, well organized. Our family had a blast, and it was an overall great experience. My only complaint would be there were no coffee filters and when asking the front desk, they were unable to help because they are not in charge of these units. We had to make a stop at a 2nd grocery store after checking in which was a pain in the neck.

Fantastic

We have stayed at Honua Kai many times and it never disappoints. The units are spacious and comfortable. The buildings and lobby are gorgeous. The attached beach is very nice. The only complaint is that the facility pool is a bit overrun with people, but that didn’t keep the kids from loving every second

Lovely property

We stayed a week in May 2019. Property is well appointed, even down to Tide Pods. Super comfortable for our 5 people. This unit has strictly a Mountain View, which I enjoyed but no view of the water. Construction near by but unit is not impacted by noise. Plenty of towels and free covered parking in underground garage. KBM is the property manager and readily available for anything that comes up. Would definitely stay again!

Unit was clean and had a nice view. WiFi and cable didn’t work and they weren’t able to fix it until right before we checked out. But other than that it was a great unit!!!

Great place, but NOT on the top floor.

Enjoyed our stay but I have only given it two stars as the unit is in a section of the building where there are 10 floors, not 8. Therefore it is not a top floor unit although advertised as such. It was clear to see rooms above ours looking out of our window. We heard chairs being moved above us and running/jumping. At least it was quiet at bed time.

Great unit with wonderful morning sunshine to enjoy our morning coffee

This unit worked well for our family of 5. The added cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrella were an absolute bonus! The pools at this resort are awesome for families! Very well maintained resort! Great beach walkway to Whalers Village. The only downside was that it didn’t offer any type of cookie sheet or roasting pan (there was only one ceramic oblong dish) for oven cooking for our larger family; as well as no additional cooking spices/oil or plastic containers or ziplock bags for food storage. The clothes dryer didn’t work well either, it took 6 or 7 cycles to dry a small load, and towels we had to dry on the balcony or it took way too long. This unit is directly across the hall from the trash/recycle so there is a smell in the hallway as you enter the unit but not inside the unit. Overall though, it was a great unit for our family of 5! Thanks!

Perfect place to stay!

This condo was so nice and provided a perfect place to stay - the balcony view was great and provided nice privacy compared to other balcony's we saw. The condo was well equipped and beautiful to stay in. Providing beach towels to use while we were there was a great touch! The resort had an amazing pool for kids that my son (14 months old) loved playing in. I would highly recommend this place!

the property was beautiful but condo had some issues.

Only one light worked on the lanai , 2 were burnt out. The cooktop was dirty. The washer did not work until maintenance was dispatched. There was no lock mechanism on the washer door. Also our entry bracelets were turned off at 7 AM on day of checkout although we had occupancy until 11 AM. We were locked out and had to go to security for them to be reactivated. .

Perfect location, unit and reception and punctual hosts.

Loved our stay here at Honda Kai. The unit was beautiful, having the rental car taken care if was a plus. The resort is outstanding. Any questions or needs we had were quickly answered. Thanks.
