Enjoyed my stay, very relaxing place, close to the beach.

Room was nice, but didn't realize there wasn't really a balcony - just enough to sit two chairs facing each other wide - that was a disappointment and guess I should have checked further. Property is dated, but in good condition and certainly cheaper than the Westin just next door that leads to the same beach - easy access to beach was nice. Restaurant bar smelled bad the two times we went there. Had a drink at the bar the first time - but kept getting whiffs of a putrid smell while sitting outside. The second time we went we were going to sit at the bar inside because it was raining a bit but the same smell was there, so we moved to and outside table. When checking out my address on the paperwork was incorrect, which I addressed and it was brushed off - name, room #, and charges were accurate so signed. When I checked my credit card after getting home I had duplicate charges totaling about 7 times more than my receipt. Left a message for a manager to call me that evening. When I called the next afternoon after hearing nothing, the manager was gone for the day and left another message. Called the third day and spoke to someone who said this was a known issue on several rooms and that the reversal on charges had already been made and charges should drop off or be credited within a few days - that is all okay, but if it's a known issue, I should be contacted immediately to be made aware of the error - not made to call several times to find out what was going on.

We loved our Villa! We had a garden view and it was spacious with an updated kitchen and separate bedroom and 2 bathrooms! The staff were amazing and the beach is the best in the area with excellent snorkeling and walking distance to Black Rock, golf etc. The pool was awesome and so was Castaways, which has excellent food and drinks at very reasonable prices.

This was a very nice place to stay. Nice waking path as well in both directions. Great beach access! Nice restaurant on the property. Great food!!! Yes for those of you smokers there are a bunch of places to smoke. Didn’t have any issues with that.

Lovely property exuding old Hawaiian charm, with a great swimming beach that includes a shady area with lounge chairs. The cafe is very overpriced for what you get, but has a perfect view from the outdoor tables. Our 1 BR unit was very large, and had a fantastic wrap-around lanai. We didn’t even get in the pool, but it’s small for such a large property. Overall we enjoyed our stay here!

We stayed in the villas and it was beautiful. The property was very well maintained and the staff was friendly!

This was a very nice hotel. We stayed in Kiehe last time so we wanted to stay somewhere different. The direct beach access was great.

You said garden view not 3rd floor looking out back at a parking lot..

I liked the location of the property and it’s proximity to the beach. The shuttle and towel policy was very convenient. I was not a huge fan of their conceierge service as they appeared pushy and slightly rude at times.

Great location for those who like it closer to the beach and enjoy snorkeling site at nice little reef within 5 minutes walk.

We stay here every visit to Maui, it's convenient to the beach, restaurants, and it's a whole lot better than being cooped up in a single hotel room.

The property grounds were excellent. The Castaway was great place to dine. The property beach was great along with an excellent location. The unit was a little small for 4 people. Where I think communication can be improved between orbitz and Maui Kaanapali Villas(MKV) is in the description of the room. I purchased based on it being 1 bedroom and NOT a loft. There is a big difference.

The hotel is perfect! Nice room, the best beach in the area, friendly and helpful personnel.

Very large rooms. We were upgraded to a better quality room at no cost and it was highly upgraded with granite countertops and stainless appliances etc. no lock on bathroom door and broken lock on the screen door to the patio were our biggest issues.
