I reserved a king bed on the ground floor but neither was available when I arrived.... I re-confirmed my reservation for a king bed on the ground floor twice and still it was not there when I arrived-I had to stay on the second floor with very slippery staircase with a full bed and a twin bed. I was traveling with my girlfriend. The room price is affordable and staff are friendly. Due to Virus no maid service(I made my own bed) Room was clean with coffee maker and Hairdryer.Security guard onsite watching parking area.I dont think I would return here due to mistake in reservation even after I followed up with front desk before arriving.

Room was hot and could not get it to turn down Lots of noise ne

the bathrooms were not clean. the lighting was provided by two lamps with old bulbs that barely lit the room. in Juneau where it's rainy and cloudy alot and you can't depend on sunlight, the lighting in the room was not good. Great staff though, they were all very nice.

Large room and great king bed. Very clean. Seems quiet despite being in the middle of the small City. 10 minute walk to almost anything you may want.

Freezer for my fish. Great coffee. Good parking for my large truck.

Good location downtown in Juneau, good breakfast restaurant nearby

Perfect location and the staff especially Russell was the best! It’s a little dated but still provided all items needed for a great stay. Restaurant onsite that was amazing for breakfast. Highly recommend. We stayed one week and would definitely stay again.

A good location, near the AK State Library, Archives and Museum, convention center, and supermarket. Comfortable room and bed.

We stay here all the time in transit elsewhere. It has the best price and shuttle.

The drift wood is an older hotel, but very clean and very comfy beds. The price is great and is downtown. Walking distance to everything you need. This was my third stay.

The hotel is an older facility, this is my third stay there. Clean, the beds are very comfortable. Would love to have a fridge and microwave. But they offer these in the room off the lobby area. If you don’t need the 4 star rating, would recommend to anyone and I would stay there again anytime

Had an upstairs room (217) that was way too hot even when I adjusted the thermostat down to 55. There was a free standing fan and a window that opened. Shower water heat fluctuated when neighbors flushed the toilet. Room was clean. Carpet was stained in places. TV was huge! Coffee maker with REAL cups, big towels, shampoo, conditioner and bar soap.Very convenient location for grocery shopping, liquor stores. museum and restaurants.

The staff was great, location excellent. The room was rather run-down but comfortable enough and an overall good place to stay.

Good location for walking into Juneau. We had a two bedroom suite (one bath). Lounge was shabby due to very disreputable looking couch. Smallish TV but good cable. Didn't use little kitchen which seemed fine. I'd call this place "basic." Shower, however, was awesome - good pressure, good hot water volume. Loaned out umbrellas which we sorely needed!!! Also had a freezer for fisherman (we're not).

I paid for my hotel room through orbitz, however they did not pay the hotel. This cost us extra time and multiple phone calls to take care of this at check out.

staff were great and really facilitated our check in. The hotel is a vintage hotel and well kept.

Great staff, but having trouble getting my $500 security deposit back

Within walking distance of downtown Juneau which is its most redeeming feature. The hotel was reasonably clean and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel itself I would rate as average. The room we had contained a stove, dish washer, and microwave. All rooms were accessible from outside. No elevators in the 3 story structure. There is a Foodland grocery store close by that offers a salad bar as well has a reasonable selection of good quality hot foods. The Sandpiper Cafe is next door and is a great place for breakfast and lunch. I can only say the the Driftwood is average in terms of amenities. Our stay there was pleasant but it was an average experience.

close to town, walking distance to most attractions.
