First of all, the phone number listed for the property does not work. They do not have a listed email address to contact them at. They do not respond to messages sent through the Expedia app. Do not book with them unless you go in person. During the rainy season, the road is impassable. It was the main reason I did not make it to my reservation. The property is also isolated within a smallish forest and not located on the roadside. If the isolated location appeals to you, go ahead. Short version of my stay: I landed late in Nairobi and chose to stay with my host and attempt in the daylight. I tried to contact the guesthouse but no response. I had others try the number and they ran into the same problem. This happened the next morning as well as we attempted to navigate the flooded roads; still no answer. At that point, I did not feel comfortable staying at the property so I initiated the refund process (which was a nightmare experience aa well). The rooms could be amazing and the other amenities top notch, but I wouldn't know. What I do know is next time I'll book directly on a hotel's website.
