I went to this hotel already my 5th times! Hairdryer, toothbrush,shampoo,kettle,coffee, everthing was throw in! liveband, and pool table was great! Always enjoy my night there! Near to Tesco and giant pelentong.. awesome stay will come back again! Thanks!

the rooms were comfortable clean and luxury, Fast Wifi, i liked the area it was quiet and a supermarket was next door, the swimming pool were clean, and star were so friendly, and i did like the foor there, it was seriously tasty, especially the pizza though :))) ,, a little far from CIQ area, but there were a bus station next to the hotel to go straight there ... absolutely worth the money, and i do recommend it

the room quite nice and suitable for my familys. and i was like about your food. too many nice food was there. and the portion is so good. i really love it. environment in your restaurant quite cool & relax not so clumsy & the staff always smile to the guest, they so friendly to my kids and i was enjoy with my food. throughout i was there the person in charge Mr Tamimi treat us well and promote great food in your restaurant. and we are very excited about the food we serve. really excited. and thank you also for one of the workers named saifuddin if I am not mistaken for his name, he is very so friendly too & he give excellent cooperation. will propose this place to other friends and close families. and I'll definitely be back for a very comfortable & quiet enjoyment while we're here. The stay was a very nice. The facilities n food was good. Efficient service was given upon request. The room was very well prepared and cleaned. I would recommend this hotel if you atre at Johor Bahru. The staff were friendly n speedy service rendered.

Location was good as it was near to both Giant & Tesco supermarkets. Room was clean but smelt of cigarette even though it was supposed to be a Non-smoking room. Service was good and staff was helpful and courteous. Upgraded from Deluxe to Suite due to a faulty TV. They have parking & pool facilities but they were in the next building. They have live band but their bar is rather small. Overall it was value for money!

I am disappointed knowing the pool are separated from the hotel and the swimming pool rules itself hoping that my parents wearing bikini isit? And the guard I know he just wants to his job..but too much still by telling us we can see the board. ... obviously we can see.. so?

Book this hotel by chance without much expectation for work. The location is away from the city centre , a building that does not really look appealing and more of a condominium but at a fair rate, what else to expect? But as the saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover! Surprisingly the hotel has been under estimated. No doubt it's a condominium converted but the amenities and rooms are well decorated and comfortable and has a balcony with a view.. Service is good, staffs are friendly and breakfast is ok. They even have a massage centre which offers different types at reasonable rates. Check it out in your next visit to Johor if you can't find a decent place to stay!!

Recently I stayed in the hotel. Initially the allotted room glass window was not locking, they tried to repair it but my wife feel it is unsafe to live in this room . I strongly taken this issue with our tour manager and he could able to relocate the room. Rooms are neat and clean. Food is so so. only few dishes are suiting our taste both in the night and inthe morning.

To start, you need to know 2 things; 1) this is actually not my first stay in this hotel, and 2) this is certainly not a Hotel. I had an extremely bad experience with Silka back in 2014 in my previous stay. However, as we were stranded in JB due to an emergency, we had to find a hotel to stay for a night. We booked silka for it's proximity to suit our needs. But don't be mistaken, there's absolutely nothing interesting worth doing in it's vicinity. No food stalls that are open (realistically, unless you drive out). There is a Tesco within 10 mins walk from the Hotel. It's also a 10 mins drive away because the carpark is co-shared with the service apartment and condominium - because the "Hotel" is one of the converted buildings that were part of the condo. So the advertised carpark, gym and swimming pool, are actually ALL part of the condo facilities. To get to the carpark, swimming pool or gym you need to walk to another buildings and trudge up a dark and isolated stairway. So if it's raining, you get the drift. This was what's caused the unhappiness in my previous stay. Because i felt they had misrepresented themselves. There, you may wonder why i am feeling disappointed (once again). I have actually set my expectations right this time. I expected there to be some glitches here and there. So when i called housekeeping and no one picked up, I rang the front desk to get housekeeping to bring up the toothbrushes and slippers. They appeared apparently about 40 mins later, which i don't blame them. Because i also needed them to replace the pillows, which stinks and were full of lumps with broken pillows cases. Wifi was thankfully working this time. However, and you need to know this, it stopped an hour later - because there was a blackout. Aircon, Tv, wifi, lights, everything - just shut down. We waited about half an hour, then called the front desk again, whom were rather courteous and apologetic. They handled the situation much better than the staff during my earlier stay. The nightmare however was not over. Another 15 mins later, a burning smell shocked me out of the room. After gathering my belongings briskly we rushed down to confirm that the electrical burning smell had nothing to do with a fire. Still, we decided it would be safer, and wiser to go out for a walk to avoid the burning fumes and stuffy room. When we were back about 1.5hrs later, we found the Hotel lobby was full of tourists from a few china tour groups. Secretly we were feeling delighted that at least we decided wisely to avoid the Hotel breakfast, which would have been a complete mess anyway. There are lots of stains on the carpets and 2 damaged patches in our room. We also noted the room was pretty warm as the aircon is simply unable to cope. Overall i felt i badly need a good wash after our stay. The aircon compressor makes a very noticeable presence in the balcony, which isn't very clean. The toilet bowl wasn't clean either. During dinner we really regretted having to book at silka when we saw another Hotel at Taman molek. I mean it was bad 3 years ago when i stayed. It's not better now, but i'm much rather avoid the tour groups. At least the Hotel lobby won't feel like a night market with their presence. It's a pretty cheap Hotel, but If i only had paid half the price, I probably wouldn't complain as much.

Luckily I was just there for one night. I didn't arrive until 11pm and was checking out by 7am so was a very short stay. Check in was fast and the team were pleasant. I was informed I had been up graded to a suite which I was very grateful.... however...... It was grubby and tired. The living room had a picture to stare at instead of a TV. The glass in the bath had a least a months worth a if other guests tooth paste residue and the floor and drains were covered in long black hairs. It's cheap basic but hotel manager cleaning goes a long way! Breakfast was full due to a tour group and food wasn't being replenished fast enough.
