Clean, Cute, Walkable

Stayed for one night to explore Johnson City. Great communication before and during our stay. We asked that fragrence be removed. They were happy to accommodate which we sincerely appreciated! Apartment is well decorated with lots of homey touches. Thanks for the water and snacks! Walkable to great restaurants, a beautiful park, and breweries. We will definitely return!

Great location. Very clean and tidy set up, super friendly owners. Just subtracted one star for location because of the club downstairs from location that plays until 3am.

Easy Peasy

We had a speaking engagement near by and needed to just stay one night. Our arrival time was to be anywhere from 8-10 pm. The contactless check in went very smoothly due to the excellent communication with the owners. Everything was clean and it was very quiet even though it is located in the hear of the downtown district.

Awesome

Great location in downtown Johnson City to restaurants and shops. The Avalon Luxury Apartments are very clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and it even had a full spice rack. Also available to guests were 2 washers and dryers. Communication with host was quick. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Would not Recommend

Area around the property did not feel safe. Renovation of interior is relatively new, but average quality, no windows and a cold feeling inside. The main issue is the environment in front of the building and especially in the rear where most available parking is found. The photos do not show the vacant buildings and the fact that there was little to no sense of security in this downtown area. Upon arrival, I took a look around the apartment, walked around a few blocks, and immediately wrote to the host explaining that I would not be staying. Of course, they offered no refund, see reply: "I talked and looked further into our cancellation policy and we are unable to refund due to the timeline of the cancellation and it not allowing us to be able to get anyone else into the property and we had it blocked off for your stay. We hope you understand and we would love to host you again sometime in the future!" I've now seen other negative reviews of this management company, and should have looked into this further before trusting the listing and losing $127

Great Accommodations and Location

We enjoyed our stay in Johnson City due in large part to our accommodations and the excellent location in the heart of downtown. When we return to Johnson City in the future, we will definitely book this again.

Weekend visit

This unit was perfect for a weekend visit to see my daughter in Johnson City. It was clean and comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating and made the entire process very easy. The location was in downtown Johnson city, perfect for walking to restaurants and shops.

Great place to stay

We stayed 2 nights in Johnson City. The space was clean and in a great location to walk to restaurants. We had no issues with the place and would definitely stay again. Beats a hotel stay any day.
