Stayed at Villa Maharani over the Christmas 2020 holidays.
The location of the villa is ideal, nestled between the Four Seasons and the new Raffles Resort. However, finding it and the access road to the villa was a bit of a challenge. Once inside though, it was our oasis.
Lovely garden and a large pool that is maintained daily. We spoke to the maintenance guy (Putra – a gem, but speaks v. little English) and arranged a suitable timing/schedule for his visits. We also worked up a deal with the cleaner (comes twice a week) for her to cook us breakfast every day. Very reasonable and had alternating days of Indonesian style (Nasi Goring) and light Western.
The villa itself was fantastic. Very large for a 2 bedroom. We figured 6 to 8 people could stay. There were only 2 of us, so we picked the downstairs bedroom with direct access to the pool, a covered walkway to the Bale (a raised daybed area with a covered roof). It also had a huge bathroom.
We also tried the upstairs bedroom for a night that had a double-height ceiling and expansive views of the pool/garden area. It also had a large bathroom area that had a semi-open concept and its own terrace with private Bale. You can also see Jimbaran Bay from the long bedroom window.
The Living Room was fantastic. Very open with huge sliding glass doors to keep the whole living area like an indoor/outdoor space during the day.
Would highly recommend Villa Maharani for your vacation.
