Adorable place, felt like home away from home which is hard to find in the NY vicinity. There’s a bus that runs every 15 minutes about a 13 minute walk away that takes you into manhattan across the lincoln tunnel. Cute neighborhood park where we would walk and jog about 2 minute walk down the street. Felt super safe and neighborhood was clean. Outstanding responsiveness from property manager.

We had a wonderful time visiting NYC with our grandchildren, ages 8 - 12. Two things we were most concerned with while planning were safety and logistics. This home was perfect for both of these - we always felt safe in and around the local neighborhood and we found it extremely easy to commute back and forth to the city, even as a group of 8. There was plenty of room in this clean home and I have to admit, I slept better there than I have slept at home in months! I’m not sure if it was the bed or exhaustion from walking all day, but either way, I was happy about it as I never sleep well! We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at the house; I would not consider the kitchen to be stocked for gourmet cooking, but we managed with the supplies on hand (and some disposable roasting pans) and had a wonderful holiday dinner. We would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit the Manhattan area. Be aware, there are two flights of steps from the street to the house level, so this home would not be a good choice for anyone needing first floor accommodations. We would definitely stay again if back in the area and while we had limited contact with the owner, when we did, we received very prompt, helpful responses. Check-in/out was flawless.

This property was great. Very clean and had toiletries which other places dont. Parking isnt great but we managed. I felt safe in this neighborhood & neighbors were friendly. Check in & out was easy & simple. Commute to the big apple was short & easy. I would stay here again if given the opportunity.
