A hidden gem was an excellent place to stay. It was our first trip to Jekyll Island and we enjoyed it very much. We liked that we could bring our dogs. The house was in a quiet neighborhood. There were even friendly deer. We had a great day thank you very much.

Sweet spot

It was very nice. Pretty and simple decor, nice screen porch which looked out on wildness. Easy walk to the ocean. You can swim there at any tide-- high tide is fine.

Hidden Gem is a Treasure

Exceeded Expectations

Stayed here 4 nights in May and really enjoyed the house and our time on Jekyll. The check in process at Jekyll Realty was easy and they were very helpful & friendly. For such a good price, we were happy to find the house was better than we anticipated. Great features include a well equipped kitchen, nice full bath plus a half bath in the master, easy walk to the ocean, and a covered back porch that’s a great nature viewing spot (back yard is wilderness). We wouldn’t hesitate stay here again in the future. It would be fun to bring or rent bikes next time. Only negative is that the 103 dollar VRBO service fee seemed a bit steep.

Hidden Gem Getaway

The Hidden Gem duplex is a great option for a weekend getaway. Convenient and low key, in a nice little neighborhood. Unit was clean and well stocked. Could use a little updating but again for a short stay no problem. We brought our dogs and worked great for walks and convenience. Property management was incredibly easy to work with. Would recommend!

This was the perfect place for us! My co-worker and I were in town for a conference at the convention center and my husband and I extended our stay through the weekend so we could enjoy the beach and bike trails!

Secluded, yet close to beach.

Enjoyed this duplex very much. Definitely cozy and comfortable with everything we needed. Deer walk right up to you whether on the back porch or in front driveway. The owners were an adorable couple that lived next door and enjoyable to be around. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for privacy at the beach.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is older, but kept in fairly good repair. We loved the secluded location off the end of Ogden with the woods all around. There were a couple of very minor things like the toaster not fully working and the shower dripping that we communicated to the realtor. They were very receptive and kind! Communication to the realtor was best through the realtors portal or direct contact, not through VRBO. We were very happy with the property and our entire trip. Thank you!!
