The hotel is situated on the good locations closed to E-mart but staff is not able to speak good English. The breakfast for vegetarian is very limited options. The staff is not courteous at all. Money wise we paid a good amount but services was very limited. Restaurant is closed after the breakfast. Tea cattle is in the room but without tea bags and milk. The spa is very very expensive. This hotel is not a good choice at all.
The hotel overall has a nice ocean view. Their staff however are abysmal. Of all the staff I interacted with, there was only one who possessed a high world class standard service. The rest were not at all service oriented and even gave teasing comments in Korean thinking that I did not understand. This happened when I approached the front desk for assistance with an error on my room booking. My wife and I are very thankful to the hotel manager that bumped us up to a better room due to the poor service rendered by his colleagues. Asides from from their staff service, Ramada Plaza Hotel is by far the most stingy hotel I have ever experienced. They do not refill your shampoo and shower needs. Upon requesting for more soap/shampoo, their housekeeping staff would be very unwilling to do so. They would charge for almost everything possible as if they are in dire need of money. Eg. Disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste. They even limit how much mineral water you get a day (only 2 bottles). Any more and they will charge for it. I will never return to this hotel nor recommend it to anyone. On the contrary, I would strongly advice against it.
It was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed! Rooms are amazing and clean, personal is attentive and gentle, the hall is simply beautiful, they have stunning buffet for reasonable price. It might be very expensive during the high season though.
I stayed here with my family for 3 nights during chooseok (full moon, a major holiday in Korea). First of all I did not pay for the trip, but also the price at this time is much higher than the usual rates, so I think there is no point discussing about the price. It is located about 10 minutes away from the airport, so it is easily accessible. Room: I had the ocean view room on the 7th floor. The weather was not on our side, but it had a very wide open view, which was pretty nice still. Had one queen bed and a full bed in addition so definitely a room for 4 people. pillows and comforter were very good quality. Had minibar with various items (jacked up prices just like any other hotel), but provided 2 free bottles of water per day. Dining: unlike the hotel dining experience in the US, the quality of hotel food is very high in Korea. This place was no exception. Even though the price was a little higher than what you desire, the breakfast buffet was in very high quality with mixture of American and Korean cuisine. Omelet, while a simple one, was very well made by the chefs there. We also had a room service in which the quality of food was just as same as the restaurants downstairs. Overall, especially for non Koreans this is a pretty good option with good amenity and easy accessibility as long as the rate meets your cutoff. a couple of things at this time (as of october 2017), chinese restaurant is under renovation and not open. Also there is no "sky lounge" even though it is still advertised in the booklet in the room.
We stayed here for three nights in September 2017. The roomy rate which was booked through a very discounted US military affiliated travel agency in Youngsan South Korea for $165 a night double occupancy. The room was old and facing the old JeJu city with a very sad view. The hotel lobby in second floor looks very boring with no tables to accommodate guest seating for chat or just waiting. A big casino operating 24/7 is a major source of income probably from all the Chinese guests. The ocean front view is okay but the so called boardwalk is short and plain in view. Something is missing, greens, trees, not sure what? We only inspected the restaurant in second floor lobby area which often serves buffet style meals. The quality of food very short of we thought at least a three star hotel. The first day my spouse noticed hair in salad bar. The food price is way overpriced. Buffet breakfast for two guests is more than $56 USD. We ordered room service for one coffee and only four soft boiled eggs without any bread for more than $29 USD. The egged over cooked:( overall not recommended as a optimal lodging for the fair price. Recommend to stay in new city area and stay away from this place! Sorry Ramada we try to be very factual!!!!!
We paid visit for three days. There was a free underground carpark which was convenient for visitor came with a rental car. However, the carpark was full especially in weekends and holidays. Therefore, you might have to find an unobstructed space. The room was spacious and clean. I love the balcony with excellent sea view. It is also located in a quiet area in the city centre.
Convenient location, but wished we'd stayed somewhere with beach access. Hotel staff was great and hotel was maintained well. Good sizes of rooms and clean. But facilities are a bit dated.
The Ramada Jeju is not what we Americans think of Ramada. This is a very nice hotel. Upscale, great location and right on ocean (no beach). Great walking along the ocean on the walking path. Many restaurants and shopping close by. My only complaint is the pool. It was 11,000 won per time you used it. That is ridiculous for anyone staying at a hotel normally. I did not see on the web site the fee for this. Maybe I am blind but if it was there it was buried. You would think a group of us would have access to the pool for free? We were part of a larger group of 20+ hotel rooms and they didn't care.
Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel had a great location, near from Jeju airport (about 10 minutes), and the place is next to the Ocean. We can choose two view, one mountain view and ocean view. My suggestion choose the ocean view. Room is spacious, clean, and so comfortable. But, it is not quiet place, because near the airport, the sound of planes taking off and passing over this hotel sometime could bother us (especially when the door to the balcony is open). Around this hotel, is very easy to find restaurants and there is a hypermarket (E-Mart) that be reaching by walking about 5 minutes. For me and families - this hotel is the best. Hotel offers great comfortable accommodation, spacious room with queen's double-bed plus a single bed enough for a family of three. Popular with group tours and airlines staff so avoid peak periods and holiday seasons!
