Ramada Plaza Jeju Ocean Front5.0 out of 5.0

Convenient location, but wished we'd stayed somewhere with beach access. Hotel staff was great and hotel was maintained well. Good sizes of rooms and clean. But facilities are a bit dated.
The Ramada Jeju is not what we Americans think of Ramada. This is a very nice hotel. Upscale, great location and right on ocean (no beach). Great walking along the ocean on the walking path. Many restaurants and shopping close by. My only complaint is the pool. It was 11,000 won per time you used it. That is ridiculous for anyone staying at a hotel normally. I did not see on the web site the fee for this. Maybe I am blind but if it was there it was buried. You would think a group of us would have access to the pool for free? We were part of a larger group of 20+ hotel rooms and they didn't care.
Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel had a great location, near from Jeju airport (about 10 minutes), and the place is next to the Ocean. We can choose two view, one mountain view and ocean view. My suggestion choose the ocean view. Room is spacious, clean, and so comfortable. But, it is not quiet place, because near the airport, the sound of planes taking off and passing over this hotel sometime could bother us (especially when the door to the balcony is open). Around this hotel, is very easy to find restaurants and there is a hypermarket (E-Mart) that be reaching by walking about 5 minutes. For me and families - this hotel is the best. Here all my scoring for this hotel: Location: 4/5 Front Office Service: 4/5 Room: 5/5 Cleanless: 4/5 Sleep Quality: 4/5 Hospitality: 3/5 Value vs Price: 5/5 Overall Score: 4/5
Hotel offers great comfortable accommodation, spacious room with queen's double-bed plus a single bed enough for a family of three. Breakfast offerings include Korean and international foods including bulgogi, fresh salmon, cheeses, cereals, fruits and yoghurt. Popular with group tours and airlines staff so avoid peak periods and holiday seasons!
This hotel next to the beach is popular with tourists and is located close to the airport and ferry service. It is probably rated as a four star hotel as there are lots of restaurants and shops within the building. Our room was spacious and we had a balcony view to the beach. It was very clean and had quality fittings. Our breakfast was included and a mixture of western and asian however we found it disappointing compared to other hotels of this star rating.
I booked the ocean suite at the hotel and it's a big suit. Food was so so but the chef was very supportive to customize the dishes as per our requirement The corniche is right behind the hotel and you can access it from the back entrance of the hotel Good staff, clean rooms and facilities
Business stay in Jeju for a few days with a city-facing room at the Ramada. Good, comfortable and quiet oversized room. Hotel is undergoing some renovations with a new small casino and extra food and beverage options. Existing bar and buffet restaurant is average but plenty of local cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. Convenient to the airport being only a few minutes drive away.
Being to Jeju was one thing I can never forget. We rented a car and it was easy to reach the hotel because of it's easy location on the beach. One bad thing was the air conditioning but other than that my stay was very great. A lot of different places to see in this island.
We booked their for their ocean view balcony but the view is boring, disappointment. It is not a beautiful ocean. Nothing on the waterfront. Amd when the balcony door is open, many mosquitoes and insects flew in. The hotel actually put a sign to ask to keep the insect screen door closed when open the balcony window. It's a full service hotel but the facilities and interior are pretty dated and worn out, especially the bathroom. That said the bathroom is very spacious.
Ramada plaza is just located nearby the jeju international airport, about 10-15mins to take taxi there. It looks like a giant cruise that berthed beside the seafront of the city. there are lot of restaurants nearby the hotel and the price is not too high in a tourist area, and there is a EMART supermarket just 5-10min walk from hotel, about 20-30min walk to the BBQ pork street or Dongmum market. and there is a tourist citybus stop just nearby the hotel. but if you want to take bus from jeju intercity bus terminal, then you may need to walk about 30min to there, or the most convenience way is taking taxi. the hotel interior design can give you a grand and luxury feeling but you should bear with them about some defeats when the time passing by... some places worn out or not in a perfect condition. The good side: 1. the staffs are polite. 2. the room has everything that you need, just beware some of them needa pay 3. the view from balcony is great, and i think especially in spring and summer. As for winter, too windy and cold. The defeats: 1. air condition is not function very well, I needa open the balcony window for the fresh air every time when i back to my room. 2. The balcony window is hard to open, maybe this is the winter time, people do not open it for a long time... 3. The shower room has water leakage. 4. The ventilation of washroom is not working too well too, the odor may stay a bit longer than you think. overall, if you are staying in jeju over a week, this hotel can be your first or last stop.
