Interior fixtures & fittings need some T L C (i.e replaced)
The exterior pool area and equipment (chairs, dining, games equipment) were very good.On arrival lights, heating, hot water on to welcome us. Nice touch that was appreciated.Having drove 20hrs was looking forward to a bath.Turned water on & the water was very dirty dark brown. Obviously property had not been used for a while and water tank had not been flushed through. Did not get my bath. Bath also had a large crack in base.Perhaps while putting hot water on it should be checked water is clear?Main complaint for us was the standard of some of the furnishings. I do appreciate it,s a rental property but it is not an excuse to have poor quality furnishings.The double bed had a loose headboard that we had to place a towel behind to stop the banging, the bed was uncomfortable and every movement was accompanied by loud creaking noises.The mattress protector was reminiscent of an old hospital bed, plastic and uncomfortable.There are modern protectors that feel like material and are comfortable, I would recommend you get them.The worst were the settees. The settees had no padding, you could feel the wooden support struts both in base and in back of the settees. If you sat down too hard it hurt and was uncomfortable to sit on. We had to use pillows on back struts. On removing the protectors it became obvious the settees are old & past their best also why only give 1 plastic cushion for a 4 guest villa? Would I book again? Yes but only if settees/bed replaced.
