The resort was so amazing, very cozy and secluded for a very relaxing stay. They accommodated to all of our transportation needs from airport to just getting around. The included breakfast was delicious and different every morning. Nothing but good this time say about my time here. Would definitely recommend to any fellow traveler.
Amazing staff
They went above and beyond. I spent 6 nights at the hotel and had many questions about tours, where to eat (Try a local spot Soda Garabito - Awesome local spot - Hidden Gem) where to get a Covid Test before flying out to the US (They called a traveling nurse to administrate one). All of the staff was very friendly, helpful and were always ready to share a smile. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful setting, away but still close to Jaco for business. Great staff. Only breakfasts available, so you need to go someplace else to eat. They do provide room service from local restaurants but foods gets cold.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pumilio Mountain & Ocean Hotel. We had a very warm welcome by the hosts and a very nice glass of wine upon our arrival. Once you enter the gate you are in your own little paradise. Quiet and quaint, this is the perfect place for just relaxing. We had a lovely unit on the second floor and just loved the outdoor kitchen. All ten rooms face the pool and the jungle. It is very relaxing to sit outside on the balcony or sit by the pool. Breakfast was very nice. There were lots of different options to choose from. Dining outside was just a great way to start your day. The location is excellent. It is really very close to many of the places you will want to visit in this part of Costa Rica. We went just up the road to Neofauna, also travelled to Manuel Antonio National Park, Jaco Beach, PuraVida Gardens up in the mountains, Puntarenas and Carrara National Park. You absolutely can't miss the amazing sunset from Villa Caletas. I think that is the most beautiful sunset we have ever seen. We also visited several beaches along the coast and watched the surfers at Playa Hermosa. It was an amazing trip to Costa Rica and we started it by staying at just a wonderful little piece of paradise. If I could make just one suggestion it would be to put toppers on the beds. The units are beautiful, clean and so spacious but the beds were just a little too hard. That would make our next stay just perfect. Thank you for your hospitality. Pura Vida!
Quiet place in a beautiful setting, away from all the busy town. Great breakfast, but no other meals. However, can order from a variety of restaurants that deliver.
Our overall stay was great! Very nice and clean hotel. Great location. The staff were wonderful, very nice.
It’s about a 7 minute drive to from Jaco, however well worth it if you want to be secluded up in a hill. Overall great experience and highly recommend for couples.
Wonderful small boutique hotel with personalized service. Away from the bustle of Jaco. Great full breakfast, but no other meal served. However they you can order from local restaurants who will deliver. Hotel will take care of everything
Loved our stay at Pumilio. Employees were all very nice. The hotel is beautiful and relaxing and it feels more like a weekend house than a hotel. Highly recommended!
Stayed only one night but we will be back. The hotel is very nice with an excellent amount of detail such as separate pool towels, a complementary drink upon arrival, outside wet bar and seating area for each room, etc.
