I made, paid in full, and confirmed rental on 9/14 for a stay of 9/16-9/20. Checking in was an easy process. As I walked into the property I was hit with an overwhelming smell of animal, it reeked. The storm door handle pulled off every time you used the door. My one year old granddaughter found a beer bottle cap on the floor!! The master shower did not work. The second bathroom shower made a sound comparable to a plane landing on the roof of the house. The lighting in the property is so dim it feels like they are trying to hide grime/dirt. The deck is in need of maintenance. There was a fight in the parking lot at the local grocery store. To say the least, I did not feel safe or comfortable in the property. After one night’s stay, I packed up my family and left. I reached out to the property manager and explained how I felt and why I left, seeking at least a partial reimbursement. Property manager explained that I did not know how to work the master shower with an attached photo with how to operate the shower function. Property manager explained that I was out of window for any kind of refund, explained that the fixes were easy fixes and did not fall into rights of reimbursement because there was no major issue with AC, electricity, water, or sewer.
Given the fact that I felt it necessary to pack up a 3 month old, a one year old, an 8 y/o, and a 10 y/o after a 16hour drive speaks volumes. I am very disappointed with the property and the lack of any reimbursement. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY. TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED!
