I had to make a quick road trip back to Jacksonville after the hurricane. The staff were all pleasant and helpful to me when I had to extend my stay. My room was comfortable and clean and the whole facility was neat and tidy. They are in the process of upgrading the facility which didnt really seem necessary to me, but should make it an even more pleasant place to stay. I use AT&T cell service and my signal was very weak in the room, but the wi-fi worked quite well for me on the first floor.

I have stayed at this hotel twice and have another reservation for 9-16-17. This is a very nice hotel. It is near the airport, shopping, restaurants, movie theater, and interstate 95. The hotel is clean and has large rooms with comfortable beds. Good breakfast and ample parking.I certainly would recommend it to family and friends. My daughter and her husband actually found this hotel and stayed here last summer while visiting the zoo and other local areas. She advised us what a great place it was so we booked our first room at this hotel for November 2016 and stayed while attending a concert at the Florida Theater.

My family (3 adults and toddler) evacuated here for hurricane Irma. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make the guests comfortable during a very nerve racking time. Room was large and clean. Enough space in bathroom for the three of us to fit our toiletries. Wifi was fast. Cable had everything we needed though it did drop out once or twice for a few minutes at a time. Pull out couch served as sleeping area for toddler. Cleaning staff was very friendly, accommodating and fast. The best part of our stay was the staff. As restaurants in the area began to close for the hurricane Tina coordinated a buffet of chicken alfredo from Millhouse to be delivered to all the guests. We lost power for about 12 hours during the storm which was relatively nothing compared to other areas of town. Many of the guests congregated to the lobby during the outage and rode out the minor inconvenience together. Restaurants in the area were closed for the next few days but as soon as hungry howies opened Tina again had a large delivery of pizzas brought to ensure the guests were fed. The staff allowed us to stay until 5pm on our checkout day without charge, until power in our area turned back on. We even left a few items behind and they were happy to hold them for us until we picked them up a few days later. All and all it was a great stay. I highly recommend this hotel as Tina and her staff went above and beyond to make sure her guests were comfortable and taken care of even in the midst of a category 2 hurricane. We will be back the next time a storm like that hits the first coast.

We were without power for several days and stayed at the Comfort Inns at the Jacksonville Airport. We could not have been more pleased and treated with hospitality and compassion. Tina was amazing, she was so accommodating, and friendly, and showed great empathy to our situation. The rooms were clean, and very nice. I didn't eat the breakfast but my husband and dad did, and were very pleased. I would most definitely stay there again if need be, or even have visiting family stay there as well. Good job to all of the staff here for a job well done, when we needed a cool place to sleep and a shower.

This is a fabulous hotel. The rooms are large, beds are great, bathrooms excellent, hotel in pristine condition and service terrific. We stayed in the Comfort Suites two nights during Hurricane Irma. Lost electricity for several hours. The owners and staff were right on hand and accommodated our every need. I can't say enough about the good feelings during this potential disaster that all the guests shared!

Stopped to stay here after disney to break up our trip. Hotel is basic and clean. Don't t expect much. Beds comfortable. Rooms have desk, loveseat, mini fridge, etc. Not bad. Made special requests for room on ground floor close to door and receptionist filled without problem. Only stayed 1 night. Continental breakfast is very basic. Coffee, etc... cereal toast bagels, fruit and danishes. No waffles or eggs here. Nothing hot other than coffee. Coffee ok. Bottom line, i would stay again, but would loom for another place that offered more breakfast. Have 2 kids. Hotwl is old, kept clean and kept up. Just a place for the night.

Have stayed here several times and it always is very nice. Staff are professional and helpful. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. Breakfast is good. This hotel is close to resturants and a shopping center.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent, check in was quick - greeted by two very pleasant clerks, room was clean & smelled good inside as well as the corridor. The bed was comfortable which made for a good night’s sleep, the hotel was very quiet. Breakfast the next morning was more than adequate with several options to choose from. Check out was equally quick and painless greeted by Daisy (I think that was her name) River City is a short drive down the road to several restaurants and retail shopping….would definitely book here again.

We stayed here on the way to vacation. I have been to this hotel numerous times, but never again. The rooms are fine, but showing their age. I won't be coming back after watching how the owner/manager treated another guest who had a toilet back up. I haven't witnessed such disrespectful behavior from hotel staff in all my years of traveling. I was shocked by how he spoke to this woman, even saying that he would be happy if she never came back. His behavior was childish and unacceptable. I let him know how I felt as I checked out and he seemed unmoved. Not a good business decision to how such a meltdown.

I thought the check and experience went swiftly got to our room, thought the hallway smelled a little funny. Room was good nice and clean, Breakfast the next morning was tasty, kids enjoyed themselves. Overall price fabulous
