The only good thing of this hotel is the location... Rooms are smelly, toilet shower is leaking all over the toilet i had to put towels on the floor otherwise i cannot step out, Ac engine sound is horrible. I will never repeat it and stay here, they give u wronge image about the rooms. Worst service, team are so aggressive except the manager. There is no privacy u can feel the people with u in the room. I will never recommend it to anyone.. i wanted to cancel it but i couldnt coz it was none refundable so i was forced to stay. The rooms are dirty very dark the kettle is very dirty!!! Usually i stay in marmara taksim but this time i wanted to change and i wish i didnt.
This hotel was a good one! Superb location! Overviewing the Taksim Place! But now its really ugly and dirty!! I never had a place 4 * in that condition. The Taxim Hill calls itself... luxury Hotel... Oh yes!!!????
I NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!! I only booked this hotel for it's position but THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE WE EVER HAD!! I booked this through Expedia, photos were nice so does the reviews. The first impression was horrible, staff were not welcoming at all. I had booked the standard room but what we got was way far from standard. We arrived 3:30 but the room was not ready and we faced a very dirty smelly room. Once we entered the cleaner was trying to clean and prepare it. The room was smelled smoking badly, there were a horrible balcony with 3 huge air conditioners in there which the receptionist said that will be very noisy at night and will distract our sleeping and pushed us to upgrade our room and paying £100 extra for four nights to get a room that we can only sleep comfortably!!!!! On our checking out we asked the receptionist/ manager in the morning to book a taxi for us for 4pm to get to the airport 2 hours before our flight. Once we came back from bazaar the guy on the reception that we never met during our stay said no one had booked a taxi and the morning receptionist/manager had handed over his shift for the weekend therefore we had to wait 1 hour and 15 mins for a taxi to that caused us stocking in the heavy Istanbul traffic and MISSING OUR FLIGHT on Saturday night that ended us paying extra £400 to get new flight tickets the following morning and left staying in the airport for the 12 hors with no sleep!!!
The only reason I gave it two is because of the location and the hotel worker was helpful getting us a taxi to the air port. The rooms were terrible and unkempt. My wife and I switched rooms twice until we came to the conclusion that the hotel was simply bedraggled across the board. Not sure how surrounding hotels are but if you can hack it out for a quick night then its a step above living on the street.
Super hotel Perfect location Friendly staff The hotel was full of guests But i didnt face any problem They help you immediately Ans quickly Good view ... good decoration Clean ... i really love it And i will visit it again in October 😘 And big thanks for mr volkan atagul He is a super man Friendly ... helpful And he helps all the guests as he could Also He help me with the directions
We had a family group consisting of 4 passengers ; we chose this hotel for its location but the poor conditions was really annoying. the where neither hot water for shower, nor good view for the room they gave us; the door locker didn't work well; we told the reception but didn't fix the problems. Finally we tried to make hot water with kettle to have bath!
Good things: Location is perfect, directly on Taksim square in front of the subway station entrance. 3 minutes walk from bus stations and taxis are available day & night beside the hotel. The night-shift reception staff and bill-man are friendly, we arrived late at night and they tried to change towels and provide extra matress for the child (but only morning shift can provide dry towels and child bed). Bad things: Spots on bed sheets and towels. Old & wear towels and bed sheets. Staff don't solve problems or fulfill requests unless the front desk manager (mr. Volcan) or the housekeeping manager order them to do. We requested a child bed from a reception staff 6 times and every time he replies "it will be ready in 15 minutes" but nothing. House keeping lady took the new towels (when the manger changed it for us) and replaced it with old teared ones again. We took 2 rooms for 11 nights and they gave us the only 2 rooms that have blocked view (open the curtains and you only see walls and AC units are directly on your window, sun light coming from above only) although people arrived next day took better rooms. Also they leave the hotel gate opened so you smell a lot of cigarette smoke due to many people standing around the hotel. And the hotel don't have any parking, you can only park in the steep street beside it or in the next hotel parking place for 27 TL per day.

I just checked out of this amazing hotel. First the advantages: 1- if you like the busy city life this is your hotel, the location is fantastic, just a min from Taksim square and the metro station, few minutes from the famous Istiqlal road with all the restaurants, Cafes and shops. Just a min in the same road you will find the famous Baqlawa and sweet shop (Hafiz Mustafa) were you have to try the sweet and take gifts back home. 2- the hotel is so clean and modern , very good wifi all over the hotel even in the rooms, they provide all kind of toilet accessories. We stayed in a room with a nice see view but was bit higher in price then the standard. 3- The staff are helpful , especially the boy who recived us in the first day ( Mostafa ) he was the only one who was helping with a big smile. I will not say disadvantages but the problems I had ; 1- the lights in the room are not enough so at night it's dim as there only lights close to the curtain. 2- our room was in the 8th floor close to the restaurant, at nights it's very difficult to sleep with the music and the noise till almost 12 and 1 am. If i will stay in Taksim again i will definitely come back to this hotel. I enjoyed my stay there.
