The soundproofing in the rooms was great, and the bathroom was splendid. Cleaners did a great job and it was always spotless. Staff are slow in the bar area on ground floor, but reception staff and doormen were very friendly.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly but need to show guests how to work the lift and make it clear there is a safe in the room. Great stay at this Mövenpick location!! Staff was amazing and had great service. This is definitely a cab/uber from main tourist attractions but I think the experience makes up for it. Lots of dining options within walking distance and they have a great breakfast.

From the moment we arrived, Movenpick exceeded all expectations. The staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, making check-in a breeze. Our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is truly impressive. The breakfast buffet was a highlight—so many delicious options, with fresh and high-quality ingredients. We also enjoyed relaxing by the pool and were impressed by the excellent service there as well. Every interaction with the staff made us feel valued and cared for. I am so grateful to have found this Hotel, Ali, and all the staff were very helpful and made me feel very comfortable. The hotel is 4 stars but i would say 7 stars. I really dont understand how its only a 4 star. The whole stay was luxurious and had an amazing turkish bath, with hammam, sauna, steam room, salt water heated pool, luxury spa vegan organic hair and body products. Great location and 3 minutes walk to the train/metro. I wish i could stay there every day!!! There was another girl at the front desk that gave outstanding customer service with such a warm smile. They were very genuine and lovely staff, I really miss them!!! Thank you very much for having me... also, I miss the hair conditioner there!!! Highly recommend!!! 10 out of 10

Disappointing Experience – Not a True 5-Star Hotel I recently stayed at Mövenpick Hotel Marmara Sea in Istanbul, and I must say, it did not live up to the expectations of a 5-star hotel. While the location is decent, the overall experience was underwhelming. First, they charge you for services like room service and laundry immediately, rather than adding it to your final bill at checkout. This felt quite unsophisticated for a hotel that claims to be high-end. The customer service was also nothing outstanding—just average at best. The room itself lacked some basic amenities that you would expect in a 5-star hotel. No robe, no iron, and just an overall feeling that corners were cut in terms of luxury. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a true 5-star experience. There are better options in Istanbul for the same price range.
