Centrally located close to all what the tourist wants from the bazar to the sites of historical interest and restaurants. The Metro station is only 2-minute walk away. Different shops are close by. The rooms are of different sizes but adequate. The hotel is classed as 4 stars but it needs a significant degree of updating and decoration etc. The Wi-Fi is a bonus. There is an electric kettle but no tea or coffee is supplied. There was a big noise of music every night of our stay till after midnight which was disturbing. The beds were comfortable. The front-desk reception staff were excellent and helpful especially Gocgen and Gulcan. The breakfast was amazing and delicious and which I think the hotel must be proud of; it contained varieties of food which suit the taste of everyone. I recommend this hotel
Stayed at Klas Hotel for 6 nights, everything was great, the staff are excellent and very friendly, Güney the night manager was exceptionally, breakfast and room standards and top quality, hopefully I will return soon
It wasn’t even a 3 stars hotel, reception staff were so impolite, room and bathroom were not clean, there wasn’t even toothpaste and toothbrush there, when I asked them they said go and buy, I said I’m gonna make a claim, the answer was... as you wish
We stayed at Hotel Klass for a week, I absolutely hated my stay there. The Hitel pictures to the actual room were different asthe roomwas much smaller we booked a room for me my husband and my 3 year old was supposed to have two beds but instead were given a small travel cot when we asked for a bed which wouldn’t have fitted in the room we were told we have to pay £15 extra per night. The bathroom was awful never cleaned we had to use damp towels bedding was changed once, it was disgusting to walk on the carpet without slippers as it was filthy. The bathroom was was extremely small a big person would not fit in it. Towards the end of our stay we were locked out of our room and accused of breaking a toilet seat and asked to pay 200 lira. When we showed them around the room and the state of the room they left and said it’s ok it’s sorted. The staff are rude arrogant and didn’t help us anything the hotel was very noisy at night even with the windows closed we found it difficult to sleep. We were told there was WiFi all around the hotel and there wasn’t each time we used the phone we had to log in WiFi. The pictures of the hotel are deceiving it’s nothing like that at all. The only good thing is it’s close to the sultanahmet mosque the tram ride is a couple of stops from the grand bazaar and mosque. The area itself is very nice lots of shops etc. I wish I could rate the hotel lower than this
Fantastic hotel, great rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful, great location near centre of tourist sites, read some reviews saying hotel was not up to scratch, rubbish, been here a few times and never been disappointed and will be return every time I'm in Istanbul
Stayed here. The only good thing was the rooftop pool. That's when they remembered to open it. Usually we would have to ring reception 2 times before it was open hours late in the day. We booked for a special occassion, And were given the smallest room I've experienced having a holiday in. We were sold by a image which showed the rooms to be much bigger. When I showed the receptionist and manager this I was told that that was a delux room and said I'd have to spend more. It was an expensive hotel anyway. And they had the room spare. They offered no upgrade. There was no urgency with the requests we made from the staff..eg.. running out of toliet roll. Took them 30mins to bring up to our room. The rooms were standard. Bathroom was awful. Disgusting. So dirty. Record was awful. Not looked after nor cleaned properly. If defo not be returning!
Having just spent the last 5 weeks travelling in Israel, Greece and Turkey and staying in some pretty good hotels I decided, after looking at some Qantas reviews, to book three nights here in the "Exective Suite". I arrived in the early afternoon to be told that the suite we had booked and paid for was, for some reason, unavailable. We were offered the "Deluxe Suite" instead with the offer of a free drive to the airport when we leave (the equivalent of about AUS$10) as compensation for the inconvenience which of course didn't cover the difference in cost between the two rooms. The next morning we attended the dining room for breakfast. The breakfast was one of the worst I've had. The food was very second rate, the tables were dirty, and the staff were rude and unprofessional. We will give breakfast a miss in future even though we paid for it. We then decided to attend the sauna. It was turned off and there were dirty towels strewn around the changing room floor. We decided to get some laundry done. It was returned promptly to our room having been properly washed and clean. The only problem was that it was still damp. We had to ask for it to be rewashed and dried properly. We were then informed that the "Executive Suite" was now ready. The TV in this room was slightly bigger than in the "Deluxe Suite" (which was the size of the average computer screen). I decided I would make a cup of tea. There was an electric jug, there were cups, but there was no tea bags, coffee, sugar, or milk. I contacted reception to have these basic items sent up to us and am still waiting. I went to the bathroom. The bench top was overhead in dirt and dust. In other words, it hadn't been cleaned properly. I asked to speak with the manager but he was away as it was Sunday and there was no one else available to talk to. There was a form in the room entitled "Would you share your impression with us". I opened the form only to discover that it had already been filled in by another guest who expressed the same views that I had formed. Namely, that this hotel is of the lowest standard. I can only say BEWARE, this hotel is a shocker. There was absolutely NOTHING I could recommend about it. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Got here to Istanbul for 12 nights. Check in and was told we had to move to another hotel 10 mins down the road as our room had a faulty AC and this could be for a few days and each morning return for breakfast. The attitude of reception staff was appauling we were stood out on the street with all our luggage and 2 young children aged 5 and 1 with no help from the staff apart from laughing at us. I will be fighting for a full refund and compensation as to be out on the street at 2 am with young kids in an unknown country is not acceptable. We have had to find another hotel and drag our luggage with kids I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, if anything they should be removed off all the hotel search websites.
Everything in this hotel is small- from the elevator to the rooms to the beds and showers. Location is central and convenient. The breakfast has no hot things other than boiled and scrambled eggs. Would not recommend.
The food is bad, elevator was always full - plus the stairs are located outside of a building, can't be used while it is raining. Do not take room 224 on the second floor or any other room with windows facing inner part of the building, it has a very realistic FAKE sky, you wont sleep at night since there is no air and the conditioner can't help. Conditioners are placed terrible there is 80% chance you will catch cold since the conditioners are pointed to you. I attach a photo of this FAKE sky - I got tricked first day and discovered that it is fake in the morning when it was switched on, the whole night I was tortured by insomnia
