This home was situated in a beautiful and peaceful area of Wild Dunes. Furnishings and decor was so perfect for a family getaway. We celebrated Father’s Day with our 82 year old father and couldn’t have been happier.

Fantastic Stay

Everything, from the house to the communication with the hosts/property managers, was perfect for our group. Close to the beach and a great neighborhood. Will definitely try and stay here again next time we’re in Charleston.

Great Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Opal house. The location cannot be beat and we had plenty of room for my immediate and extended family that stayed. They also had some beach supplies there which came in very handy to ensure we had everything we needed for the beach.

Perfection

The house was exactly as described. The layout was perfect for our family. I have three daughters who stayed on the main floor. My husband and I stayed on the lower level as it had a mini kitchen and access to the outside. The kitchen was well stocked. The appliances were in great condition (like new). The access to the beach was very close and within walking distance. We played golf one day and the course was very close and immaculate. I wish I knew about this VRBO when my daughter first went to The Citadel 4 years ago.

Beautiful home and very quiet. Well stocked with the necessities and had beach chairs/carts available. Beach and pool were only short walks and not crowded. Hosts were in communication prior to, during and after our stay.

The perfect vacation house

The Opel house is amazing!!! The views were stunning and the layout was perfect. It had everything we needed and much more. We hope to visit again soon and enjoy the amenities of this incredible home.

Great place!

Really enjoyed our time. They did a great job welcoming and answering a couple questions timely. Great pool and hot tub and super close to beach. The place was in perfect condition. Would rent again.

We loved Opal House - plenty of room for two families and easy access to the beach. Very clean and our hosts were very communicative and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

I would definitely recommend Opal House to anyone seeking a quiet getaway way that has secluded beautiful beaches! Located deep in Wild Dunes, the neighborhood is secure, the house beautifully decorated, maintained and wall stocked. Steve was an excellent host and amazing communicator! Made for a great few days….will be back!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Opal House for a long weekend. Easily walkable to the pool and beach and a beautiful view of the pond on the driving range. We were even lucky enough to see many turtles and one gator sunning on the driving range green. The house was well appointed and a nice layout for an extended family.
