Took them an hour and a half to bring us baby crib, which we asked for in the reservation, again at check in and had to call for two more times. We finally got it around 7pm. They gave us a pack n play with no mattress

We have stayed in years passed because the property and views are beautiful. We did NOT like the check-in/any service had to come from Postcard. We had no "manager" to report anything to, including a family that was staying there blasting their music, cursing, smoking marijuana at the pool and beaches. Went to the bar for a rum and coke, was told there was no Captain Morgan behind the bar and no manager on property to unlock the supply room. Lastly, our room was never serviced/clean while there. Will most likely go back to the "mom & pop" type places for our next visit to the Keys.

The hotel is very nice, as is the post card inn that is next door and which you can enjoy. What I did not like and it is very disrespectful is that management is using the excuse that there are not enough staff to clean and tidy up your room. If they are short on staff they shouldn’t charge so high a night and they also should let the public aware of that situation before they make a decision to book. I personally like my room to be organized and clean every day. The hotels industry are taking advantage of the public, in September of last year I stayed in the siesta resort, which is part of the same management, and the excuse for not cleaning the room was COVID and now is staff shortage. This is insane and disrespectful

Great facilities - clean and recently updated facilities - loved the view and balcony — Missed access to staff - check in was at different location - partial suite kitchen needed glassware, mugs, plates, and utensils. Would definitely return!
3rd stay at Pelican Cove. New owners, same price but the discontinued free breakfast and didn't even have free coffee available. One elevator out of two not working. One ice machine not working. No sign that these were in any rush to get repaired. Shame this place is going downhill. Always liked this place. Hope they can bring it back.
No daily cleaning and no access to pool towels or beach toys… no one working at the Pelican. Had to walk over to Postcard Inn to get anything.
The property was beautiful with a great ocean front access and views. Food was also good at the restaurants in premise. The room had a nice ocean view and was clean.
A beautiful setting in a little world of its own. Gorgeous views, lovely beach, lots of amenities. A pleasure to have stayed there.
The staff members were all friendly. Francesca at the front desk was so helpful and went out of her way to help in what ever you need. Gayle the bar tenant fun and nice to talk to.
Beautiful views, clean property. Staff person in Beach services was exceptionally rude. Front desk person did not process our credit card immediately so we could not charge services to our room - took another trip back to the front desk to correct. This all sounds worse than it was. Enjoyed our stay; just a couple of inconveniences.
The property is in a beautiful setting right on the water. There is a very nice beach area that you can enjoy which was not crowded. The balcony on the room was wonderful and overlooked the water.
I stayed at this place after traveling from Tampa to Sanibel Island and Key West. We have stayed at several places. On the good side, our room has a nice sea view from the balcony. Parking is convenient. We got SMS messages from manager. On the bad side, the hotel is the most unsanitary of all on our trip. There were yellow fecal spots left on toilet seat. Stains were present on sofa. Reception staff did not wear a face mask despite order from the Monroe County. Breakfast buffet is ongoing with guest gathering in groups. We had to wipe down the whole room including floor and furniture with disinfectant. While this is a beautiful resort, it is basically a petri dish. I would not recommend staying here during the pandemic unless management can implement substantial changes across the board.
