I visited this his hotel as solo. The provided room at 9 floor was looked on hotel’ s air conditioning motors. So, I asked to move to another room. They moved me to the same single room on 11th floor with same problem. Don’t stay in this hotel , if you are travel solo!!!!

After dinner, we went to the roof bar to have a last beer. We are 4 friends. The first thing we heard from the waiter was that we must pay 2.000 yen if we sit down. "TABLE CHARGE" ! What? We could not even look outside the window. Had the bar in front of us. The bar itself a real small room. When we saw that 1 beer 0,2 L cost 1100 yen - we calculated that 1 beer costs 1.600 yen in total. NO WAY ! We all left the bar. This customer table charge ripping-off is an invention of Japanese hotels of the 1980 years. You get nothing for the money. Not with us anymore Mr. Hotel General Manager! The hotel rooms were tiny small, we could not even open our 2 suitcases at the same time inside without jumping over them. Extremely small plastic one-piece cell bathroom. The rooms have not been renovated forever. Despite this, the hotel rooms are extremely expensive. If we had known before what poor rooms we get, we had never booked this hotel. The only good thing was the breakfast. Overall result: NEVER AGAIN Ana Crown Plaza.

First time in Kanazawa , visiting to run a marathon. Due to the rubber crowding into Kanazawa, naturally the rooms are expensive. That aside, the rooms are really nice and clean. Very very convenient to the train station and various food outlets and supermarket. If you want to go further , bus terminal is right beside it. No problem with the service . The breakfast is in a cosy restaurant , although spread is just so so , but not a problem for me . No problem with the service too except you have to speak slower if conversing in English. I will come back again if I'm in Kanazawa.

I travel quite frequently with my family on my retirement and so I always look for good value for money deals when I travel. Upon our recent visit to Kanazawa, we stayed at the ANA Crown Plaza Hotel. We were very disappointed with the service at the front desk. We booked three rooms but they placed us on two separate floors. The excuse the lady gave was that she cannot ask the guest who checked in earlier to move. Yet, they should not have given the room out in the first place. After talking for 10 minutes, she gave us three rooms on the same floor but the rooms were so small that we could not place our luggage! I’m very disappointed at the service with this hotel 😩

Although I was originally booked for two nights, a typhoon kept me from getting to Kanazawa until the second day. I had no problem adjusting my reservation. When I finally arrived around 12:30 p.m., they not only had a room ready for me but they had placed an Amazon package I had sent there in the room. The hotel is lovely inside, the room is relatively spacious, and the staff could not be more welcoming. There are a number of restaurants in the hotel but my impression is they are a bit pricey.

We stayed for two nights here in the middle of our tour across Japan. The hotel staff were very welcoming when we arrived and the rooms are very comfortable. We were keen to se the delights of the sky bar but disappointed to learn that there is a surcharge to use it - even when you're a hotel guest! The views are good but the bar is small and smoky. We didn't think it was worth it. The next day, we tried to get a beer in the downstairs bar which was absolutely empty at 9pm and the male member of staff was so rude that it was almost funny.....a group of 5 Canadians before us received the same treatment and voted with their feet! We took ourselves out of the hotel the last night and had a much better time of it. Still a good hotel at the end of the day though. Just wouldn't stay in the hotel after dinner

Stayed 3 nights, room 1516 king room. Below the room is a kind of generator which makes a continuous noise. If you are sensitive to noise this could be an issue. The room was clean. The bed very comfortable. Bathroom had for the full duration an unpleasant smell. Bathroom needs updating. Bathroom doesn’t match the modern feel with the rest of the room. Tv, 3 English speaking channels. Would expect more from a high-ended hotel. Wifi: good throughout the hotel. Breakfast: very good. Plenty of choice.

The location of the hotel couldn't be better: Right next to Kanazawa station and wqas such a convenience as the train and bus stations were right outside. However, I didn't like the way they gave the compliment drinking water and welcome sweets; instead of placed in the room, they handed the two water bottles and two sweet into my hands, I had struggle enough with my bags and the last thing I want was a handful of water bottles and sweets! Unacceptable way to show your welcome to your guest. While the room was clean, the bed so uncomfortable! That was the worst bed in my entire stay on this trip! The staff was very friendly, helpful and very apologetic when they couldn't find the suitable adapter for my appliances. All in all, ANA CROWNE PLAZA KANAZAWA was a disappointing stay and the price was unreasonable.

This hotel is practically adjacent to the train station (a short covered walk to the right). Across the street from hotel is a large underground mall beneath the Nikko hotel; there is another mall at the station with many restaurants and shops as well. They came in handy because we were tired after a long day of sightseeing and were reluctant to go out too far in this quiet town after returning the hotel. The sightseeing bus stops including JR are located to the left of terminal entrance. Our room on the ninth floor was smaller than expected. However the window provides a great view of the station building, the beautiful Tsuzumi-mon gate and nearby buildings. The room setup seems dated showing wear and tear but serviceable a d clean. Although all the rooms on floor are nonsmoking, tobacco smell still inexplicably lingered in the corridor like memories of a bad habit. The breakfast buffet is quite nice, replete with both Western and Japanese cuisine including local specialties. There's a great variety of selections including omelettes made to order. The wait staff was friendly and quick to clear tables. Buffet starts at 6; go early as the place gets real busy by 7 am! The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The bill for our 2-day stay came to 54k yen (which included 4k for 2 breakfast buffets @ 2k per couple per day and approx 4K tax). It's a bit higher than we expected. A satisfactory stay.

I am essentially a 3 star hotel person, due to the meeting of comfort and price at that level, but occasionally I choose to splurge. So, I found myself in a four star hotel for three nights. The "upgrade" gave me washcloths and a laundry bag that I didn't receive in the three stars, as well as a larger room. Breakfast was also more varied and extensive. With all due respect for some of the interesting comforts (e.g. a night light at the foot of the bed) offered, the most blatant thing that I noticed is that the room had neither drawers nor shelves for clothing. This was so surprising that for two of my three days i continued searching, reasoning that I must have missed them, as no hotel could do something like that. Bottom line: I lived out of my suitcase. If you looked closer, the furniture was a bit worn and shabby I cannot judge the level of the breakfast as half was Japanese food, of which I am relatively unfamiliar. The western food was tasty enough. Hotel is large, and personnel are polite but impersonal. I was "sir" to each and every one who had never seen me before, even on my third day.
