Our stay at the farmhouse was amazing, the cottage was clean and had everything we needed, although the weather was poor we managed to have a great time and we were greeted by a little grey cat which was adorable, thank you to the staff for making the stay the best if could be!

Great quiet place

Lovely little place, we wanted a quiet place to have a last minute getaway and this place met our needs, we only marked down for the shower as it was a little temperamental going between stone cold and boiling hot.

Lovely location and easy to access. The cottage smelled of dogs quite strongly and needed some redecorating. Reasonably clean but could definitely been better.

Had a fabulous wee break. Inverary is very welcoming, excellent choice of quality dining. Cottage was great, reminded me of a family trip to Inverary when I was a child. Only complaint was the poor shower pressure, which is essential for long hair, and slightly temperamental water temperature. We would happily return.

We had a fantastic stay at Oak Cottage. The cottage was cosy and clean, with lovely green space surrounding it which our dog loved. Mike and Jay were both so friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We even extended our trip a couple more days as we enjoyed it so much, which Mike and Jay were very helpful in assisting with. The location is great with really nice views and walks nearby. I am sure we will stay at Killean again and would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Oak Cottage. The cottage was cosy and clean, with lovely green space surrounding it which our dog loved. Mike and Jay were both so friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We even extended our trip a couple more days as we enjoyed it so much, which Jay and Mike were both very helpful with. The location is great with really nice views and walks nearby. It’s also a very short drive to Inveraray. I am sure we will stay at Killean again and would highly recommend.

Magical Place to Stay

I stayed in one of the Cottages "Willow" which was excellent. very comfortable with everything you need to relax. First class welcome information with useful local details and an Argyll magazine. I plan to return "not for business" and enjoy the magic of the place. Communication was really good and fast response to any questions, impressive.

Hidden Gem

A hidden gem. I was travelling solo but had the whole cottage to myself. Newly renovated, has everything you need. Supermarket a short drive away. Plenty of parking. Hosts were super helpful, friendly and responsive.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It was so clean, comfortable and full kitchen with everything you need. Close to Inveraray town to visit Inveraray Jail, Inveraray Castle and the various restaurants. Lovely surroundings. We loved our stay.

The cottage is in such a beautiful setting, there’s a bluebell meadow right outside the back door. There’s also a great dog field just a few minutes walk from the door. Very handy to give the dog a run around after a long drive! The cottage is very clean and tidy inside and very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the log burner as the weather was too nice - not something to complain about though I suppose! We will definitely look to come back in the near future.

Country cottage, peace and quiet

Beautiful spot in the countryside with a wee stream running behind the cottage, very peaceful. We booked as 5 adults, Hotels.com simply stated 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Did not say that all but one double bed were in the same room… so my husband and 24 year old son had to take one room, and sleep in a double bed! And us girls had to take the other one. Assumed there would be 3 bedrooms? Anyway, nice stay. Think Hotels.com should mention only enough wood and kindling for one heat, so had to go out and find somewhere on a very dark night to heat up the rooms and downstairs overnight. Very old cottage, asbestos roof, poorly insulated, so really need the log burner in January!
