The staff upon check in were so professional and friendly! Totally superb. We were able to unload our car outside the hotel directly and they had a staff to come with us to teach us the directions to parking. The rooms and corridors were lovely and nice. Rooms were very high-tech and using everything automated, including curtains & lights. Facilities were top notch and the location was awesome. Underground connection to Mcdonald's and supermarket and several shops. Would totally stay here again. Although, The rooms were too dimly lit for ambience. I prefer something brighter

Fine hotel located right in the heart of the city, opposite the bus and train station. Modern and somewhat simple exterior fronts an elegant and comfortable interior. As expected in a premium hotel, front desk staff polite, well spoken and smart attire. Prompt and courteous attention, offered to assist with luggage and advice about underground carpark. Note parking is ticket issued by front desk to use their allocated spaces in public carpark under the hotel and city square. System works okay, but suspect the Hotel builds in a margin for helping you...... Innsbruck is an attractive, clean and tidy city, easy walk across the road to bus stance 'B' to catch the 'Red Bus' with hop on, hop off, city tour. Worthwhile hour tour to get a grasp of the city layout, Grand Hotel easy walking to the shopping district and close to restaurants recommended by reception team. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Only one English speaking TV channel, (CNN) but this is the same elsewhere. Pleasant weather during our visit meant opening the window for fresh air during the night. Surprised at how quiet the city centre seemed until the bin and delivery trucks at 7am. Breakfast next day in comfortable, old school restaurant. Nice choice of quality foods served by attentive ladies wearing traditional 'Austrian' outfits. Nice touch and my wife impressed by style and quality of the uniform. Funny how its the little things that are remembered. In summary, this is a good but expensive hotel, assuming you are happy with that, you will have a pleasant stay. We wanted for nothing and would be happy to return..

The best hotel in Innsbruck close to train station. The distance from the center of Innsbruck is about 15 minutes. Comfortable rooms, the sleep quality is excellent and the restaurant is excellent too. The chef is fantastic! Excellent service!

We flew into Zurich (better price on business class airfare). Then took the train to Innsbruck. This hotel is very easy to find across from the station. Rooms are okay. Ask for one nearer to elevator as there are steps to lug your suitcases up in the +09 rooms. Good breakfast and so close to Hertz rental office. We picked up a car there for a one day tour of the Tyrol on our way to Salzburg, then Vienna.

Location was perfect for us, since we arrived by train from Salzburg, and this hotel is right across the street from the train station. Excellent amenities compared to many Austrian hotels. Maybe I take things like a robe and slippers, a toothbrush, a coffee pot, and so on for granted while travelling, but these are like a rare bird in many Austrian hotels... and it was all here. The front desk was so helpful too. For example, when he told us local supermarket was closed for the night, the clerk asked if there was anything special we needed. The staff really went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was elegant with attention to detail and friendly service. I had wonderful Austrian pancakes that were prepared to order, garnished with fresh currants and real Vermont maple syrup. In addition there were wonderful items from a large buffet including speck ham and cheese. The room was clean and comfortable, but not noteworthy. Hotel is a bit dated, but I think it was overall a 5 star experience. The price was reasonable for the quality and service provided.

The Grand Hotel Europa was a well appointed hotel with friendly staff. It was located conveniently opposite the train station. You could also pick up the Swarovski bus from the station. Easy walking distance for old town and all areas of Innsbruck. Hotel I would recommend

My first impression of hotel was good. Modern and nice lobby. Nice people to welcome. The bed was comfortable. Only thing is my room had carpet stains, water stains on shower floor and the room looked good but old and used. You can hear everything in halls and next room. Woke up to pigeons pecking on window. So it was an OK stay, across train station and 5 min walk to old town.

Ours was a 4-night stay in a superior double room (king bed) of approximately 29sqs with mountain views, breakfast and wifi included. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we were very impressed that there were 2 desk chairs, with ample room for both of us. We asked for a quiet room and we were very pleased with our location and its view. The bed was very comfortable and the wifi was good. The breakfast was excellent. Also very pleased with: automatic lighting & blackout curtains, aircon, cleaning, sound-proofing, bathroom and other furniture/fittings. It had a great shower. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the rail station (we walked our luggage to the hotel) and the old town area is a pleasant stroll. We found the staff warm, efficient and always helpful. It was raining (well it does rain a lot in Innsbruck) the day we left and we were able to cross to the rail station direct from the hotel on the under-road walkway. We were very grateful to Reception for advising us of this access.

We stayed two nights in the midst of a European vacation that included two kids (age 14 and 9). The hotel location is across from the train station, which made it so easy to travel by rail, and it was a 10-minute walk to the old town and to the cable car up the mountain. The breakfast in the restaurant was out of this world! Pastries, coffee, traditional meats and cheeses - we didn't want to leave. The front desk staff were all English-speaking and so helpful.

We stayed here as part of our 30th anniversary trip. My husband and 1 were very pleased by the communication with the hotel prior to our arrival and even more pleased by our treatment once we arrived. They spoiled us and made our anniversary very special! We were indulged with wine, chocolates, and fruits upon arriving and spoiled by a room with a beautiful view and luxurious appointments. The breakfast room was a feast in itself. We felt like royalty and would definitely recommend staying here.
