I originally sent this a private message to the host expressing my frustrations with our stay, due to noticing he had no reviews and not wanting the first one to be poor but to still give him feedback, however, I have not heard back and have exceeded my patience with dealing with the poor communication for this property and want to make sure other future guests are aware of issues we had with this stay. During our stay the communication was awful with this host to the point I had to call Vrbo to get check in information 2 hours prior to our check in time. We were told there was secure parking we could pay extra for and then told parking was sold out for the night once we got there. I was given multiple codes for the lock box so getting into the unit was tedious. Once in, our sheets were wrinkled, a not matching set, and wet to the point we had to strip the bed and dry them ourselves. The comforter had a wet sticky substance on it. The host did however have a new comforter shipped to our front door, which was helpful. There was also a large clump of hair on the floor. It just felt as though the unit was “cleaned” and prepared in a hurry even though we had booked weeks in advanced, but couldn’t confirm our booking until 2 hours prior due to non existent communication where 3 separate messages, days apart, were sent on my end with no response before making a call to Vrbo. I would 100% not recommend this unit to stay at.
