The farm is situated in the heart of Central Switzerland at 1250 metres above sea level, in a quiet location with magnificent views of the lake and mountains of Central Switzerland. Ideal hiking and excursion area. In only 25 minutes you are in Schwyz, the capital of our canton.
The steepest funicular railway in the world is very close by. Lake Lucerne also invites you to take a boat trip or go swimming, and our flat must be booked for at least 2 nights.

We run a mountain farm with 30 cattle, we also have two cats. The flat is very suitable for families with children (space for 5 adults and one child). Ideal for relaxing, unwinding and enjoying yourself.
On request you can get fresh bread rolls and croissants in the morning, as well as milk, butter, eggs, cheese and homemade jam, Nespresso capsules and dishwasher tablets can be bought from us.
In winter only accessible with snow chains or 4x4 drive, on a very good access road.

Way up on the mountain

It was a great place. Host could not speak English but since we could partly speak German, we could communicate. Very nice lady, very nice place. We did not expect it to be so high on the mountain but it was wonderful. The place was clean. We'd stay again.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt, wir haben uns bestens erholt. Unterkunft mit schönem Balkon und wunderbare Sicht auf die Berge. Viel Platz in der Wohnung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Rundum zufrieden.

Beautiful location, overcharged stay

This house is beautiful and is exactly I described. Plus: 45 minutes to ski Andermatt & 40 minutes to enjoy Lucerne. Quiet location with a beautiful view. Host was kind. House was very clean and well stocked. Host provides breakfast each morning for additional charge, which was worth it, as the house is very isolated. Cons: host does not speak any English, despite the listing saying she does. We were charged for “extra people”, even though the listing says five people can stay there, and we were a group of 5. It was difficult to find in the dark, as there are no street signs, so the host had to come fetch us from the church and guide us up the hill. On the final day, the host tried to charge an additional 200 for things like electricity, trash, cleaning, and washing the sheets.
