I had a lovely overnight stay in the wel presented Willow Lodge. The room was immaculate and had some lovely touches from the owners. The location is stunning, you will not be disappointed. Slightly disappointing for me was the price for the electric vehicle charging. But would not be put off booking again..

A Truly Special Place - Good for the soul

I spent two enjoyable nights at Hayeswood Lodges and found the quality of the offer to be top-notch. It’s a quaint setting in the middle of some beautiful countryside and upon entering the property you are greeted with a lovely gift from the owners and in my case home-made chocolate brownie. The accommodation is of a good size and all the furniture and furnishings of a high quality. The small kitchen facility is ideal if you want to prepare yourself something to eat and continental ingredients for a breakfast are provided, again of a good quality. A peaceful setting Which allows you to unwind after a busy day. A lovely day in the winter and must be truly spectacular in summer.

I rarely take the opportunity to record my stays but this deserves the time. The communication in advance was clear and very helpful. However, the location after a business day is ideal and so many personal touches, including a welcome label on the door personal to you! Everything self contained and so comfortable, wanted to take the large mattress home! Iron 4 poster bed, kitchenette with coffee maker and milder frother for cappuccino! Love the touch of the light continental breakfast with local products and a welcome cake and plenty of condiments. It isn’t too far off the beaten track whilst being so quiet at night. Thank you to the owners, I will definitely return when passing through again.

The most amazing place

This is the most amazing place. Beautiful countryside. Lovely gardens. The room was perfect, with a little kitchenette. Dan was a great host, really informative & around if you need something. He told us where to sit to catch the last rays of sunshine, bonus. Breakfast is left in the room along with brownies on arrival. Homemade & really yummy. For us this was the perfect stay. We would highly recommend it and we will definitely stay again.

What a fabulous place

Amazing place, beautifully appointed and great attention to detail. Just the most brilliant place. In the middle of the country but near enough Ilkeston and places to eat. Lovely warm welcome and a fab breakfast. The room itself was incredible with a small kitchen but the whole place oozed class with no corners cut. Highly recommended
