Watch the sunset while swinging on the porch swing, enjoy the the giant deck out front or the private yard in back.

Great mountain cabin

Great mountain cabin. Centrally located with east walk to center of town. Cabin is clean with all the amenities, wonderful mountain feel and design. Check in super easy and host quick to respond. Great stay!

Great Mountain Getaway!!

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at this cabin! My family of 6 had plenty of room to have their own rooms and the living room was spacious/comfortable along with kitchen and indoor and outdoor dining areas. The jacuzzi was wonderful and everything was clean. Kitchen had most of everything plates, utensils, all the comforts of home but bring your own spices, condiments, coffee, etc There’s a tv in living room and one in an upstairs bedroom and there is WiFi and streaming services along lots of dvd’s. We really had the best time! The porch swing was a nice bonus! There’s lots of hiking trails near by and the cute little town is just a 5 minute drive away! Loved the location and we will definitely be back.

Great cabin, comfortable, everything you need, great location

We rented for a long holiday weekend with young adult kids. Idyllwild is a charming town with everything needed while being away from the daily hustle and bustle. The cabin is spacious with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable family room, and lovely spaces outdoors to enjoy. We had a great time together and Fern Valley provided a great location.

Great House in a great location!

We loved everything about this house.. big deck out front and new hot tub in the back. The kitchen has everything that you could possibly need! Very comfortable!

Gorgeous cabin - perfect Idyllwild location

So nice to stay in a cabin that's not full of tchotkes and bad art! Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed true log cabin. Perfect location too. Pretty limited kitchen equipment (e.g. no spatula...) so don't plan on cooking or bring your own kit if you do. And there's no central heating so bring slippers in the winter - though the log fire, space heaters and bed warmers meant we were toasty warm. Two minor improvements we'd suggest: a guest manual would be useful (we had to text to find out about wifi & trash); and a lamp in the living room would provide a nice alternative to the overhead lighting. But those are minor niggles - it's a great cabin and we'd definitely stay there again.

Perfect!

Everything was great! Very nice, very clean, quiet, conveniently located, owners went the extra mile with nice bathrooms, kitchen, appliances, furnishings, toiletries, etc. I've stayed in a lot of cabins in Idyllwild and this was definitely one of the best. Highly recommend. Owner was also very friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with.
