Please read this review prior to booking this property! We lost power from 11-5:45….not only did we loose electricity but running water as well. The owner was extremely rude and kept telling us to be “patient.” I guess he thought people spending this kind of money would be fine going the majority of the day without a working toilet. It should also be mentioned that parking is a hassle secondary to small, limited parking spaces located right on a blind curve directly on the street. In addition, you have to walk on a dimly lit path approximately 30-40 yards to reach the house. My daughter arrived first and had to be let in by a neighbor because we still hadn’t received the check-in code an hour after check-in. Lastly, there is zero mention of the countless cameras on this property. We felt like every move we made was being captured on camera. The setting was pretty. However, there is a property right down the road with an equally pretty setting and, hopefully, a kinder more reasonable host. The weather for our stay was sunny and in the 70’s and we still lost power. This is Colorado and my goal is to prevent this from happening to fellow travelers with children, the elderly or those who require the use of toilets. If we lost power when it was 70 out I can’t imagine the situation during the winter months! There is a fireplace but as a guest you aren’t allowed to use it. Book with caution! (Our stay was 9/25/25-9/28/25 for reference)
