Mixed feelings
As the title says, mixed feelings on our stay during the summer. The house itself is charming, view was nice, but we also experienced some negatives:
• only 1 day before arrival the owner mentioned that the pool was not heated. With water temperature being very cold, it was a disappointment. The kids used the pool only 3 times. It was one of the main reasons for booking the house. If we would have known, we would not have booked the house.
• very close to the house, there is a dog shelter. During the night the dogs kept on barking which kept us awake too often. Nothing that the owner could probably do about it but for us it was very disturbing.
* when looking at the map, the distance to the city center seems close but with large (steep) height differences you always have the take the car
* the house has a septic tank and you need to put the toilet paper in the bin. Not mentioned in the description and is not really hygienic.
* The rooms though were spacious, nice and clean.
* garden was also nice.
* reaching the house with the car is challenging because of the turn you have to make. Make sure that if you have a rental car that it is all risk insured.
