I like to keep things positive with my reviews but also honest and the level of disrespect myself and my partner received from the staff at this hotel is so high, I feel I'd be doing future travellers a disservice if I were to not produce a truly accurate disposition of how terrible our experience was. Of course, I'll be fair and include my review of the grounds, room, cleanliness etc at the end. The details of our stay is as follows... I personally went to Ibiza for work so was booked into another hotel whilst my husband and his friend stayed at Migjorn for the first night in a 2 bed apartment. The idea was for me to join them on the second night and continue our stay together. We'd initially booked a longer stay but decided to cut it short. When my husband and his friend arrived at the hotel they explained that they'd be staying half the intended stay, the receptionist then refused a refund (which was disappointing but fully understandable). The receptionist also said they couldn't offer them dinner as a gesture of good will because they didn't do dinner at the hotel (lie number one). They then proceeded to deactivate the room key every time my husband and his friend left the room for that entire day - although the stay was already paid for! They made the security escort them to the room every time they needed to get back in which was a very humiliating experience for my husband and his friend to say the least! They didn't understand why they were being treated like criminals although they'd paid for a room! The next evening I arrived. My first impression was negative, I wasn't exactly greeted by the security but rather impolitely ordered to go to the reception as I wasn't a paying guest (yet... I was headed right in that direction because my husband already informed me earlier that it was 80€ extra for me to stay). Speaking to the receptionist (Alex), he then said that it was indeed an extra 80€ as we waited for my husband to arrive. My husband arrived and Alex then went on to say that it's not 80€ but 95€. As you can probably imagine, especially with events the day prior, we were very unhappy. Alex didn't apologise, instead he went on to say that they changed the price 3 days ago and he forgot. We just wanted to be treated fairly and the level of disregard we felt from him was truly truly upsetting. The security then came in and things got really heated - there was even a point where I really felt that my husband and him were about to come to blows. It was honestly a horrible and intimidating experience. We asked for their names and Alex wrote two first names on a post it note, when we asked for their full names to make a complaint they refused and the security guard ripped up the paper and threw it behind the desk. Even after all of this, we still ended up paying the money. On the second day we went back to the front desk and told the lady we'd like to make a complaint. She asked us what happened and after telling her she stood there deadpan and offered an apology. When then asked what the next steps were - she didn't say much. The point was, we weren't trying to get anyone fired - we were just really saddened by our experience and we wanted to ensure they get the correct training so nothing like this happens again however, we didn't feel like they cared one bit. Throughout that day we had a couple more interactions where we really felt that we was being harassed and if I wasn't so strong-minded I'd say bullied! We're really not terrible guests and we've never had this before but it's certainly enough for me to never stay at this place AGAIN! As promised, the grounds are decent. There are two pool areas, one nicer than the other. The apartment was clean, basic decoration but nothing to complain about. The bed was super uncomfortable but the breakfast was really good. There is loud music playing throughout the day but we didn't mind.
Great few days with the wife the staff where brilliant and just helped us settle in from the moment we arrived. The bar and food set up is quality. food is top notch and the music at the pool is brilliant great Ibiza vibes and cant wait to go back next year.
Nice basic but functional apartments. Tastefully presented with little thrills, basically what you expect from this type of offering Right onto the good bit. Service, particulars poolside. Lovely pool offering with loungers and VIP beds for a measly 50 Euro minimum spend. The exceptional bit is how you are Looked after poolside. Chilled vibe as you expect. The restaurant is exceptional with absolutely stunning English and Mediterranean offerings and a very nice wine list. Again service is exceptional Minor downsides, you are under the flight path but this in no way affects sleep with flights being daytime only. The accommodation is a tad expensive but generally in line with the rest of the island but this is IBIZA baby. The beach is also 2 minutes away. plenty of places to eat within a 2 minute walk and a short taxi to party central clubland if that takes your fancy Would I recommend? Yes definitely
My partner and I stayed here for a week. We absolutely loved it! We definititely recommend the hotel and would stay here again when in playa d'en bossa. We were offered a welcome drink when we arrived and the concierge showed us to, and around, our apartment. Nice touch! The room was fabulous. We had the superior junior suite and it had everything we could have wanted. 3 different levels with kitchen/diner, living room and balcony, bedroom bathroom and roof terrace. Toiletries, bathrobes and slippers provided. We stayed round the pool most days. It the atmosphere changed depended ok the day. Earlier on in the week things were quieter but busier on a weekend when more groups arrived. Marcelo who works in the bar was lovely! Very accommodating and made every effort to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The music round the pool was good, sometimes repetitive but that was only noticed since we were there most days. The breakfast was amazing! We had something different everyday. Lots of choice and fresh food. Couldn't fault it! Another good thing about the migjorn, was the room we could use to shower and freshen up in, before our late flight. Overall, the place was more than what we could ask for. The staff were all friendly, accommodating and there to help.
We had a very, very pleasant one-night stay at this hotel, which is centrally located for anyone wanting the beach / nightlife experience in Ibiza. It is well-secured with a security guard patrolling the front door and the large gate being closed at night. The pool was quite lovely with a friendly staff serving drinks all days. The reception staff were also very friendly and we were offered a welcome drink and a spa package with our room upgrade. For the price we paid, it was very well worth it. The spa was a nice experience -- unique and unexpected to switch back and forth between a sauna, steamy hot showers, and a selection of warm and ice cold baths. Surprisingly, in the location, our room was very quiet -- which was more than we could ask for. And, our room had a rooftop balcony with a very slight seaview (we loved that). We were given a large package of room amenities (soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, etc). And, since we had a late flight leaving Ibiza, we were kindly allowed to store our luggage and even take a shower in the designated area. We would definitely stay here again when in Ibiza city.
My partner and I stayed here mid June. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the apartment was devine and the location was ideal - It was a minute walk to the beach. The atmosphere around the pool was also very chilled, really enjoyed the music played. The breakfast was also delicious, great selection available - only problem was we ate too much each morning! I would absolutely recommend staying here!!
stayed here for 3 nights while on a stag do. good clean rooms, with great choice of food for any time of the day (the breakfasts were a decent hangover cure). nice, relaxing atmosphere too giving how close it is to the pubs/clubs. definitely recommend
Lovely apts, very big. Well equipped. Right in the centre of town, and not far from the airport. Music around the pool was great, made for a good party atmosphere. Waiters around the pool were very good. All in all a great place to stay.
I had an amazing stay here in Ibiza. The hotel is beautiful. The restaurant is really good. Everything was perfect. Music at the pool is a great idea ! The room was big and so comfortable. I'll be back soon.
Stayed here in May 2017 for a few days as a couple. Accommodation was excellent, superior junior suite had 4 levels including kitchen, living room, bedroom and sun terrace on roof. Facilities very good - lively pool with bar and music all day plus a separate quiet pool with children's play area. Included breakfast was excellent. Supermarket on site. There is a spa and gym on site but we didn't use them as not included in our rate. Staff were very friendly and helpful reception is staffed 24x7. Location is great - at the end of the strip, couple minutes walk to the beach, maybe 5 mins to Bora Bora.
- Free WiFi in rooms and public areas
- Onsite dining
- 2 outdoor pools
