Not sure where to begin. Obviously it's a party hotel so I should have expected everything I'm about to write. As we checked in, there was a DJ in reception and it was ridiculously loud. I was told at reception this was because it was an event day. When events are held, rooms on the first floor are difficult to get to and instructions aren't really given properly. If you're here for the party scene, this hotel is perfect. There's always some sort of event on. But word to the team - when people have sore heads from the nigh before, blasting music at 10am is not the one! The rooms are super clean and spacious but it really is basic. Bring your own toiletries (towels are provided), shower gel etc is also provided but in sachets and the bare minimum. The blankets are also super thin so you may need to request extra. It's a cool hotel with its own supermarket and restaurants etc but definitely a one time experience for me. It's not what I'm in to you but if it's for you, then this is the place to be. Also, the hotel is massive so plenty of guests but they have 24/7 security and that's great. The hotel is a quick walk to the 'strip'. But remember, everything on this side is extremely commercialised and catered for tourists. I wouldn't recommend experiencing Ibiza this way.
Stayed here for four nights sept/Oct '17. Hotel is rocking. Spotless. Noisey daytime. Night time security make sure everyone behaves. Met some fantastic people. We where told we couldn't get into our room until 4pm, we arrived at 09.30 but we got in at 09.35 😀.Staff are very friendly and always willing to help. We had a small issue with our shower door. It was sorted within 10 mins. House keeping came but we never allowed them in. (We only just got into our room after an amazing night/morning. Ibiza rocks hotel we WILL be back for my big 40 2018. You make it what you want it to be. Don't read into all the negative comments. Miss you Ibiza 🌅
Pleasantly surprised by this hotel ... booked it very last minute ... really clean rooms are good staff are also good .... mind you we stayed up for 4 days and our beds didn't get slept in once but was great for our luggage to spend the weekend and what I did see of the hotel and when I was actually there it was great !
Absolutely mega time! From the moment we walked in to the moment we checked out. Pool party's were mega, GET A BALCONY MAIN POOL VIEW ROOM! Yes it costs a bit more but they are epic to chill at and watch the antics unfold below!
Came as a guest of the MiSoul party on the evening of Thursday 28 September. Because of the music it was difficult to be heard at the bar, but it was also noticeable that not all bar staff were not paying attention to who'd arrived at the bar first. Eventually I caught the eye of a young guy and asked if he'd serve me next. He nodded but it became apparent that he'd misheard and brought me two large glasses of beer and insisted that I'd ordered them I said that I was sorry he must have misheard, that I don't drink beer and wanted two Gins. He looked furious, poured the beer into the sink in front of me, walked away and ignored me when I called him. He then returned and plainly told a colleague not to serve me. I speak enough Spanish to have understood this. This colleague just ignored me. He walked away and I followed, wanting to understand why he'd reacted like that. He wouldn't respond and I again said that he'd misheard and I thought he was rude. He told me I was rude when I said he should consider customers and the fact that he'd made a mistake. I think he thought there was nothing I could do and he could be as rude as he wanted. I went back to the bar and eventually was served by a very nice barman. The nasty barman later went upstairs to open up a second bar on the first floor. Others complained about bar staff but were able to point out those who were doing a decent job. There should be someone supervising the bar staff. I wouldn't visit again and in fact heard others say the same. I'm sure the hotel won't be bothered however.
Attended this event with friends which was situated at this hotel. Don’t know what hotel is like with normal guests as the hotel was taken over for the week. However general comments about the hotel are that it is very basic. We didn’t have a cleaner come in once during our stay and had to go and find them for our towels to be changed. Had to empty our own bin also. Beds ok but Myself and my friend slept in the lounge and the sofa beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom was lovely but there were occasions where we had no hot water and other occasions where it was so hot you couldn’t stand under it. Hotel is noisy. The sound of guests reverberates around. Also we overlooked the smaller pool and every morning early they jet washed it and banged the beds around getting them out for the day. Also could hear deliveries and general noise levels were loud. I wasn’t expecting a quiet peaceful holiday but I wasn’t expecting that. Staff were a mixture .... some were unhelpful and often rude .... some were lovely and beyond helpful (in particular the lovely lovely Scottish lady on the bar in reception) who was amazing and went above and beyond. Also the lifeguard was amazingly helpful moving beds and assisting us ... always had a friendly smile and a hello for everyone. During our stay we had an issue crop up which we dealt with via reception and it was resolved but whilst my friends and I were discussing a gentleman called Dave (?) overheard us and stopped us and asked us about our issue as he told us he ran the hotel ... assured us he would look into it and come back to us. He failed to do this despite knowing our room number, reassuring us he would feedback and seeing us around the hotel. Very disappointing and a basic customer service rule is if you tell the customer you are going to do something then ensure it is done and you feedback ... in my book the lack of feedback when promised is bad customer service ... Overall hotel was clean, and not bad ... and I am aware that the “usual” crowd are much younger than the party there for Mibiza soul ... and it is a young lively hotel ... but the hotel noise was just a bit too much and with the hard bed interrupted our sleep. With a few tweaks and some minor improvements to customer service could be a great place to stay if you are young and want a lively holiday .......
I recently surprised my husband with a trip to Ibiza Rocks hotel last week. It was for the Craig David closing party I was a bit apprehensive as we are in our late 40's and thought it may have been an unsuitable place for us. How wrong was I it was a fantastic holiday loads to do in Ibiza and Craig David was as good as ever such fun. We had a great stage view room. The room was clean and tidy and the shower was very good the only thing missing was a kettle. Talking of kettles one suggestion at breakfast time is for an urn to be installed it was very time consuming to stand in a queue waiting for the kettle to boil for a cup of tea. Breakfast was scrummy too. Hopefully Craig David will be back for the summer season next year as will definitely book again.
On arrival, rude receptionist. Except the team who are there to help with any other concerns, they were very nice. Hotel: I thought the hotel had been refurbished? Clearly the only thing that's been refurbished is the bathrooms in the hotel rooms. Crappy glass door on the bathrooms Crappy doors on the rooms! Food & Service We waited 25 minutes at breakfast to be served. I wouldn't have minded if it was busy but it was dead both times. This stands for both restaurants in the hotel. Extremely slow service. Food quality is ok. Drink Reasonable prices for Ibiza I'd say, BUT until an event is on then expect to be charged treble the amount! £18 for a vodka and coke is redict! Overall this is the second time I have stayed here and doubt I will be returning.
Me and a friend stayed at Ibiza Rocks hotel in June earlier this year. It was great to be in the centre of the night life and pool parties. We have since returned to ibiza and stayed in other hotels and NO WHERE COMPARES to here. The rooms, the location, the staff and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Want to say a special thankyou to reps Adam and Matt for making our experience so enjoyable from start to finish - Planning our week, making sure we didn't miss out on the best events and quickly sorted any problems or queries we had. Over all cannot fault anything about this hotel, will be quick to return next year and I can't wait. Love K&T
Firstly, i never complain about a hotel however Ibiza rocks hotel, Ibiza is by far the worse hotel I have stayed in. 3 very happy guys arrive at the hotel, open our taxi door we get complete filthy looks followed by a string of insults from the taxi drivers & hotel security who were waiting outside the hotel, we clearly ask what is wrong and they shout something along the lines of "illegal, illegal, taxi illegal" after a minute or so we can only assume that is was an illegal taxi, in honesty 3 tourist come out of the airport and get a taxi from next to the rank (which has a taxi sign) how are we meant to know? I'm sure its not worth the abuse and constant swear words we received. When checking in at 2pm our room wasn't ready even though we were told check in is from 12pm. When we finally got our room it was a twin room even though we booked a triple room and hotel knew three people were staying. The "pool view" room actually over looks what I can only describe as a conservatory that hasn't been cleaned since it was first built. By the middle of day 2 we had been down to reception to ask for new room key cards on 9 separate occasion, each time we asked if they could look at the lock as something is obviously broke. At this point Craig David closing party had started and instead of being at the party (which was the main reason we book d Ibiza rocks) we had to stand outside our room whilst three clueless men tried to fix a lock that we had told reception was broke 9 times in 24 hours. Eventually after going into next doors room and climbing over the balcony he let us in, we got ready and got to Craig David as he was finishing his set, during this time we have not had as much as an apology, just complete sassiness from every member of staff, almost an attitude as if it was our fault there lock didn't work. Less than 24 hours later, we are walking back from the beach, one of our friends from another hotel walks back to relax by the pool with us before we head out, however he is not allowed in, we have told the "security" guard we are happy to pay whatever the entry would be but no, no entry. As if this isn't a blow, he then grabs my friend unprovoked and pulled him away from the door. Last day comes and we go to check out, without being to personal, this small, arrogant, moody little man at reception would not give us our €30 deposit back because our signature apparently wasn't exactly the same as when we checked in, in all honesty he was fairly lucky I could still write as we have had four days in Ibiza. After a heated discussion he then pointed for the door and quite clearly pocketed the €30. To add salt in the wounds, our room in 4 days was not cleaned once and we got fresh towels 1 of the days. Very very disappointed in what was meant to be "one of the best hotels" I cannot see how this is 4* hotel, in fact the dirt and uncleanliness, along with the attitude they all have I wouldn't give it a 1* I would say the only positive is there were so many things wrong with the hotel, it became very laughable. I truly hope all of the miserable staff read this and change there attitude so they can help make peoples holiday better rather than going out of there way to ruin them.
