I'll start off with the positives which is great location, pool and some of the staff were really friendly. Now onto the negatives...This was the third time I have stayed at La Noria and this visit was very disappointing. Mainly due to the fact that Juan-Hose (night staff, not the other Juan who has worked there for years as he is lovely) came to me and my friends room whilst we were getting ready at 1am and he very aggressively asked to turn our music off which we did straight away. Then he banged his hand on the door and started shouting he could kick us out for this so called 'offence'. He was very intimidating to me and my friend (both young girls). Very strange as this is a normal time to get ready in Ibiza and it's an adults only hotel. We finished getting ready and left within 5 minutes of his visit. Then as we were walking past the window where you could see our hotel room at the front - a very tall, intimidating looking security guard was sent to our room - banging on the door to the room we had just left. I'm absolutely disgusted that he conducted himself in this way - it's quite appalling. So apart from this incident, the hotel in general is outdated. The mattresses need changing, we got bitten from them, our toilet was broken and the sunbeds around the pool need updating. If you want to stay somewhere decenr, Ebano and Bossa Flow are a little more expensive but so worth spending the extra.
A great little cheap no thrills hotel right bang in the middle of the action if that's what your looking for. If not look elsewhere. The rooms are very basic and small but functional. The reception staff and bar staff are helpful and friendly, but watch out for the maids!!!! we learned the hard way
The hotel located 8-10 mns walk from the Playa de'n Bossa sandy beach and a 5mns taxi ride from the airport. Small, tidy and quiet hotel with polite, friendly and well trained staff, clean towels and bed just off the noisy high street. Great value for your money as you can get a peaceful night sleep - no music or party after 10pm-, get your breakfast, dip into the swiming pool. If you want to play hard in the Ibiza nightlife you can buy your ticket at the hotel reception and you are just 10mns walk from several clubs and bars Swag, Ushuaia, Pacha and many more. The location couldn't be better for a balanced holiday stay and if you don't need a fancy hotel room to show off to the girls, go for the La Noria. Tip: Search for authentic spanish restaurants and coffee shops for a traditional meal, don't end up with a pizza... Well done La Noria team! Muchas Gracias y Saludos España. Miki
The hotel is very clean and in an excellent location - central to the nightlife but far enough away that you can get a decent sleep when needed. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Would look to stay again next year if the price is the same.
I've just come back from staying for 4 nights. I booked this hotel for two reasons: the location & the price was the cheapest. I arrived early & couldnt check in but was welcomed to lay by the pool to catch up on the sun. The pool area was quiet, enough sunbeds for everyone who used it. I am sure the pool is heated? As it was very warm, I assumed this was from the sun heat but after visiting another pool which was freezing even with the sun heat! All staff were friendly, laid back and helpful. When I got to the room it was very clean, towels were changed daily & the air con was lovely! The only downfall would be the salty water but speaking to others staying at other hotels in Playa D'en Bossa it appears this is throughout the whole area and no fault of the hotel. The shower itself was hot always and powerful. Yes the room was a bit dated, but location was key for me & it was quiet. The room came with a free safe which is a bonus as again in a lot of places you are charged. Would definitely stay again as it was exactly what I needed for a base!
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff were fantastic. Very friendly and couldn't help enough. The rooms may need modernising in a few years as they are very old fashioned, but ill be honest...for the price and location...for a party holiday it's worth it. The rooms were cleaned every day, I cant really fault it! Although im sure the water from the sink was salt water, so brushing my teeth was hell, especially after a night out! A massive positive was the air con in the room. IT SAVED US!!!!! And the safe In the room was free and easy to use! The location is fantastic for a party holiday. It's a two minute walk to Sankey's, and you can easily get to the beach and top beach clubs such as Ushuaia/BoraBora. I wouldn't say id recommend this hotel or any in the area for families, for the simple reason it can get quite loud at night...up till about 7am, which isn't ideal, but for us that wasn't a problem, and not the fault of the hotel. The rooms aren't sound proof, but I wouldn't have expected that anyway! The only negative to this hotel is it wasn't quite accessible for the transfer coach so we were dropped off just around the corner, but it was only a five minute walk, and not a problem. The drive directed us well with a map! Taxis are fine. All in all I would definitely stay here again if it were cheap!
It's Ibiza, you get what you pay for with hotels. We booked about 6 months prior to going and some of the reviews we found on facebook and tripadvisor were quite disappointing but we went with it. Well, it wasn't Fawlty Towers! Good value for money and great location too. Positives: - 2 minutes from Sankeys - 2 minutes from main strip of Playa d'en Bossa - 5 minutes from Ushuaia and Hi Ibiza - 10 minutes from the airport (taxi, approx 11 euros) - Decent sized rooms and bathrooms - Air Conditioning - Safe in the room - Storage space - Fresh towels and linen - Friendly and helpful hotel staff - Clean hotel premises - Quiet but lively atmosphere Some improvements?: - The water was very salty - More variety at breakfast - The pool bar/cafe should have more variety too and stay open longer than 18.00 - Two keys for the room or the option to have a second key - The WIFI only worked in the reception area I would definitely consider returning to this hotel next year.
GOOD: Twin beds. Clean towels daily. There's a few nice bed like sun loungers round the pool. Close to main road - Sankeys / Bars. Safe in the room. AC. Having a lounge area with a table - we only expected a bedroom. NOT SO GOOD: Salt water shower and sink (not good for hair washing and cleaning teeth). NO FRIDGE! I was told by the Facebook page / email that there was a hair dryer - there wasn't. Toilet didn't flush - had to report this on day 1. Only 1 key per room. No shower room on site for late check-out. Basic food served at the canteen bar. No do not disturb sign. Room 119 looked on to the road and not the pool. Poor soap and shower gel collection - the soap was terrible, it didn't lather at all to wash hands. Drying rack had collapsed on the balcony.
Me & a friend were on a hen do, we were staying In Ibiza for 4 nights. The hotel was in a perfect location, a few doors down from the Sankeys nightclub but a little bit away so you could actually have a good sleep and chill, Everyone at the hotel was so lovely, the pool area was nice and the snack bar have the best Pizza's. You can get free WIFI through out your stay. This hotel is exactly what you're looking for if you need a nice room, bed, shower/bath always clean, friendly staff, 10 minutes from the airport, 5 minute walk to shops/restaurants/beach and very good in price. Really happy with our stay and would 100% book again if we was to come back to Ibiza. Thank you :-)
Nice location and pool rooms are very dated no fridge pool bar closed at 6pm every night so had to get food elsewhere 2 plastic cups to last us the week no clean ones were provided and though the cleaners came in most days ee still had to ask for clean towels and toolet rolls they never cleaned the floors or took or our rubbish away we had to dispose of it ourselves we prefer salrossa and in future that's were we will be staying
