Stayed here in July for a few days with the kids and had a very enjoyable holiday. To say I looked for the cheapest holiday I could find I wasn't expecting much. My only requests were a pool and some sun! I was pleasantly surprised by the Maritim. Rooms were huge, a separate dressing room with a big mirror & a room for the lilo's! Great air con, huge balcony and powerful shower 😊 2 pools & a gym. To use this as our base for all the amazing places to visit on the island was more than adequate. I am quite baffled when reading other reviews why people seem to rate this against a 3 or 4 star hotel... it's not! It is exactly what it claims to be and I have already recommended it to friends as a great value place to enjoy Ibiza 😍

Just arrived back after a weeks stay at the Maritim and this review is based entirely on this week and our room 1201. First impression was AWFUL!! No microwave, no toaster, 3 forks, 3 knives, 3 spoons, no matching crockery, 1 glass etc was a 2 bedroom but the small bedroom had no bed in but the settee had been made up as a bed - why?? Largest portable TV ever on the wall in a corner that wouldn't even face into the room it kept swinging back, but no English channels anyway just BBC World News and the view from our room? - a tree. There ae 2 pools, the pool bar closes at 4pm. No on site supermarket but there are plenty around. Now for the good points. The beds are clean, the safe is free, wifi is free, so is the air con and the apthotel is in a great location. So as a base its ok, but honestly - we would not return.

Stayed here Tuesday-Saturday with my husband - bed and breakfast. Main purpose of our visit to Ibiza was for a wedding. The wedding venue (elixir shore club) was 15 minutes in a taxi and cost 16 euros. So- we got a taxi from the airport to here and it cost 31 Euro. Shocked to be honest so my advice to you is come out the airport and pop on the number 9 bus. It is 4 euros per person and this is how we are getting back to the airport today when we leave. Bus stop right outside hotel. Bus takes you lots of places too so bear in mind for a trip. On arrival very friendly staff. Room spacious, air con was great, rubbish view from balcony looked onto a road but hardly seen the road for trees and bushes. Really powerful shower. Had to push to single beds together which was really I comfy as they kept pushing apart. Rooms cleaned every day - friendliest cleaners I have ever seen- happy to provide towels and toilet roll etc even if you were in and didn't want your room cleaned and bed changed . Had a crap sleep every night - mainly due to other guests banging around, but the fridge made some Noises during the night and our room was near a noisy road . Would suggest asking for another room with pool View. Breakfast is served from 8.30-11 which I thought was great , not too early . Continental so it was cheese ham chorizo toast bread rolls croissants etc. Reception staff helpful. Last day it rained there is buckets and towels everywhere as the roof is leaking. Come out the hotel cross the road and you are right on a strip with plenty eating drinking places also some things for kids - trampoline bouncy castle. So all in all very basic you get what you pay for we were only 217 for two nights including. Breakfast. I won't come back only cos I prefer to try different places - if I had a wedding in the same Place again and it was just myself and my husband without the kids then I would .

Really gone down hill when we booked we didn't know it was continental breakfast so my son lived on toast all week as he's a real fuzzy eater! 1 member of staff in kitchen poor lass was run off her feet, some days no glass plates and cups ready for us, Cleaning of rooms was fantastic pool area never cleaned once in 5 days we were there my son and friends took the net and cleaned out the pool them self 1 day before being able to get in it

A return visit, we last holidayed here 2 years ago, and gave it a good Trip Advisor review. Really disappointed this time. Good points: lovely staff. Big rooms. Disappointing points: breakfast was a full hot and cold buffet last time, with eggs cooked to order. This time, unless you arrived at 8.30, all tables had crumbs/stains/crockery, which you moved yourself. One serving utensil to use on both the ham and the cheese. Ham and cheese obviously stored so cold that they sweated on display, and mushed up. When there were croissants, they were either 'ok' or not cooked. No hot food at all this time, although all the counters were still there. Bananas turning to black mush. Bar. Only open until 4pm each day. Snack menu gone, and replaced with 'supermarket style' pizzas. No draught beer for duration of my stay. Small Strongbow 5€. Bar lady was always in the dining room or the kitchen, and you had to call her to get served. Her relief is the ON DUTY Lifeguard. Last time, an older chap straightened chairs and wiped tables/tops etc. This time no chairs straightened during the day. Glasses and cups stayed out all night (sometimes 2 nights). The same coffee cup with cigarette ends in it was by a tree stump near the pool for the duration of our stay. Pool area: generally dirty with rubbish blowing around. Rooms are old but ok, air con is good, my view was of a fence and derelict waste site. Hundreds of cigarette ends on ground over the balcony. Plus point, when the people in the room next door to us played their music so loud it reverberated the wine in my glass. I complained and reception sorted it straight away. What a pity....loved the Hotel last time. We won't be back. It needs an overhaul, and more attention to detail in the public areas.

Arrived very late 0230, puddle on floor..fridge defrosting,no 3rd person bedding.. soon sorted..Little bit dissapointed with breakfast.. only limited choice, but normal for Spain. Everywhere clean and tidy but in need of a spruce up on exterior (dated) VERY quiet area but plenty of shops etc and public transport. All in all we only had a two night stay.. would i come again YES

The arrival and reception was very good, with nice pleasant staff. Our apartment was quite large and pleasant enough. The rooms were clean and no bad smells. The air conditioning was absolutely amazing. We had booked for 2 adults and two kids 10 and 13years old. So would have expected 4 beds and only had 3. We did get another bed, by asking reception in the morning after arriving at 4am! We just made do. The beds are the most uncomfortable ever, in our opinion. The pools were ok. Staff and cleaners were nice throughout our visit. I would book here again for price, and just bring along a mattress topper!

Stayed here from 15-19 July with my mum and daughter hotel very spacious room very big and bright balconys a little on the small side but nice very clean rooms cleaned every other day staff very friendly and helpful just a 5 min walk to bars and restaurants and 10 mins to the beach sunset only a 5 min walk and defo a must see I would defo recommend this hotel and would defo stay again in the future

Me and 3 other friends decided to stay here for 4 days and we were really impressed! Hotel staff were really helpful and allowed us to charge our phones and use shower facilities after we had handed our keys back at 11am. The hotel was spotless, really clean and tidy. Staff helped us with booking taxis etc which we really appreciated. Wifi was decent also! Only thing I would say is that the bed I slept on was quite uncomfortable and there was no washing up liquid or towels for doing the dishes. Hotel was really relaxed and quiet and we were allowed to get a full nights sleep. I would really recommend a stay if on a budget like we all were. Thanks for the experience! ❤️

Ok so read previous reviews and would suggest you take note of the facts. We booked here as bed breakfast in an apartment for a few days was appealing, we knew we wouldn't get our usual standards but hey this was a short break with our big holiday being in August, so didn't expect much. The apartment was big and spacious with cold air con...stop that's the best bit! The room, as was the complex very old and out of date with many many repairs and much upgrading needing done. Some big investment is needed here. We saw large cracks in the infrastructure, lots of painting needing done, furniture in rooms and poolside needing replaced. Curtains hanging off rails. Sink etc needing replaced however the apartment was relatively clean..not best standard but ok. The breakfast was two slices bread, one coffee..don't ask for more or you are told to pay..,one slice ham and one cheese with a choice of orange or apple and one bit fruit. It is not a breakfast nor a buffet!!! It is served to you from the bar with a cold table next to it. The pool is very old with lots sand in the bottom of it. So all together it was just bearable for a couple of nights as it's a at the quite end of the San Antonio resort, with a small beach very close by. We didn't leave our passports nor money in the room it just doesn't feel safe even with a safe! Some huge fights took place between residents that woke us in the night ...all together not a very nice place.n! I am
