This is a hotel of contrasts - part of it looks like a shabby care home (apparently it used to be one) and part of it e.g. the top floor apartment is modern and attractive. The lady who booked us in was friendly and helpful but wrongly informed us that there were no gluten free options for breakfast. Our room was comfortable and fairly clean apart from a few spots of dust. The location is good with plenty of parking. I would have been tempted to use the sun room (as the weather was bad) if there was a good introductory offer - it is £25 for half an hour.

Great location and the off street parking was a definite plus point, room was pleasant enough with a view of the channel and was reasonably clean. Staff were really friendly, bar area was nice and the breakfast was lovely. Only a short walk to the promenade/sea front. The running about in the shower to get wet wasn't ideal and I think that the photo used to describe the room is more than likely the best room and may not give a correct overview of the standard for all the rooms.

This a very nice and classical place to stay . It is easy to find with ample parking and is clean and well maintained throughout . There is a surprisingly well stocked bar when you go in (especially if you are a gin lover ) with a good choice and variety. The restaurant was very good - clean , tidy and plenty of room . The food was very tasty particularly the homemade burger and chips (a very nice and unique chilli mayo accompanied this) and there was plenty of choice on the menu . The young man Matt that was working seemed to be everywhere at once and nothing was too much trouble for him . Great attention to detail and to guest satisfaction . Overall a fabulous place !

We visited Seabrook House for the second time this summer and were happy to return. Excellent spacious family room, clean, powerful hot shower, comfortable beds, fans in the room so it was lovely and cool in the heat. The hotel also has a sizeable off road car park, so parking was never an issue. Makes a striking and welcome change from the 3 hotels we have stayed in in Folkestone for a similar price - (they were all dirty, noisy and had poor bathrooms as well as no parking). We look forward to our next visit!

Nothing was too much for the very friendly staff, we stayed for three nights and loved everything minute. Breakfast was awesome and I especially loved the fried eggs! Close to a small town and 10 minutes from Folkestone and it’s electric nightlife. Also an absolutely perfect spot to stay if you’re planning on using the channel tunnel etc!

we enjoyed are stay breakfast great .and the ladies that cooked it where lovley nothing to much trouble.it does afternoon tea there to and light snacks . we went into town on the bus they come every 15 min just over the road a rest from driving ..lots of shops in the town and a lovely walk to the sea about 20 min walk from hotel.

From outside this hotel looks v old fashioned, however... with minor tweaks it could look more upmarket as it does not give a true picture of the stunning period beauty inside. The interior is gorgeous and is being refurbished to a v high standard. Excellent paintwork, carpet and new bathrooms (we had the turret room with 4 poster bed and roll top bath, fantastic, with sea views, our wedding break! ). Excellent quality bathrooms, good bedding and towels, staff lovely v friendly and super helpful. Breakfast good. The hotel is being refurbed and can only get better. Keep up the good work, highly recommended.

This is my opinion of Seabrook House....This place has so much potential to be a great B&B, but sadly its like stepping back in time to when I used to go to boarding houses in the 60's. My wife commented when we entered the drive " This looks a dump" and I had to agree it looks a very sad place and unloved, but what a great location and even its own car park!! We stayed for one night only as we had a chunnel train to catch early next day. We had asked in advance if it was possible to have an early breakfast (email sent) but received no reply. A continental breakfast was provided, very basic ie; Cereal, Cheese, Ham, Milk and sliced Bread ( toaster available), but no facilities to make a tea or coffee!!! we had to go back upstairs to our room to make a drink. On the plus side the beds were comfortable and the room clean. I'm sorry to say that I can't recommend this place for more than a one night stay, we certainly will not be staying again.

We stayed here for one night prior to catching the channel tunnel. The reception and service we received was excellent. We stayed in room one, ground floor with access to the rear patio. Unfortunately the room is close to the reception, kitchen etc so any noise can be heard. Also someone in the building had a motorbike which was parked around the back by our window which started up at 5.00am in the morning! The rooms are ok but a little tired especially the towels. The shower is small and lacking hot water. Our evening meal was good and very tasty. Breakfast was good although when booking I was told if you only had toast there was no charge..I was charged £5.00 for two pieces with marmalade. My husbands cooked breakfast was however good .

Booked a family room on Saturday for me my partner and daughter. But had a family emergency so couldn't attend. I got bombarded with phone calls at 11.30pm whilst I was in the hospital. On returning the call I was told I'm a liar, that they had gone out of there way to provide an extra bed for my daughter and why didn't I call to cancel (which I get) but when your mum is rushed to hospital the last thing on your mind is to call and cancel when your in total panic. Will not be booking here again. Very rude lady who called and VERY unprofessional to say the least
