We had stayed at the Taj Deccan two months before we stayed here. I know comparisons are odious, but such reviews are about a quality standard... The property seemed older, set at the side of its own water body. There was ample parking, but unfortunately one of the trees was pollinating and stained my car. The check in and lobby were great, but they were unable to give us a room we’d requested for, with twin beds that also had a shower in’s either or. There seemed an inordinate number of ups and downs, with steps even inside the room...a risk if you need to visit the toilet at night! The room was comfortable, and the bathroom well maintained and clean, but both were now dated...especially if you compared them to the Taj Deccan’s. The furniture, corridor carpets and such were at the very brink of shelf life. The buffet breakfast and lunch were good, the a la Carte menu limited and not, well, Taj standard. The staff are very polite, hospitable, efficient and obliging. So if you like a hotel with an older ambience, wood panelling, exercise within your choose the Banjara. But with my awkward mobility, the Deccan would be my first choice next time.

This hotel is like stepping back into 1975. The whole hotel is old and run down with blistering paint, broken lampshades and bathrooms that are a Mish mash of 3 decades of bad taste. The restaurants are old and outdated with dirty furniture and 2 star food on the buffet. The staff are pleasant though.. Pity the Taj owners feel it's a waste of money to upkeep and modernize their property.

I stayed here on work for a night. Room is nicely sized and had a lake view. Check-in and out was quick. However, its a small hotel, and little run down and lacks the affluence of a Taj property. The reception staff seemed bored and not so motivated. The restaurant staff was warm and hospitable. Food (room service, veg) was good. The breakfast was also pretty tasty. Location is central.

I stayed with a friend for two nights here in January. The locations of the property is good but the infrastructure is poor. The fittings in the bathroom were leaking, the phone line wasn't working for one whole day, which meant one had to go down to the reception for the smallest of requirement. The pool area is pretty ok; the breakfast options were good. The staff are very cooperative and tried their best to make the guests feel at home.

The hotel is an average 3 star property and does not live up to the Taj Standards. Whilst the staff were very polite, I am extremely disappointed with the service standards of most of the staff. Despite repeatedly asking for 2 sets of towels, housekeeping kept only one. The shower cubicle leaked water every time. The duvet cover was torn and had stains of mosquito blood on it. The cutlery in the lobby lounge restaurant is so worn out that even a roadside restaurant had better cutlery. Often we had to get it replaced as they were dirty or had food stains. Overall I am disappointed with the level of service from Taj Banjara and sincerely hope that they can up their game.

Visited this hotel on a business visit. Usually I stay at Taj Krishna but because it was sold out, I chose to stay at Taj Banjara. I checked in around 8.30 pm. Being a Gold member requested for a suite upgrade as I are entitled to 20 upgrades in a year. Mr Prathip at the front office kept on saying the hotel was full, made me laugh, it was available on their own website. I dont know what to they achieve by doing this. Rooms are also very run down. They should close this hotel for a short while and completely overhaul the same. There far better properties for the same price in that area. Now I dont call this Tajness by any standards..

Highly recommended for the service standards. There is something very comforting about staying at the Taj Banjara. The staff is outstanding, will go out of their way to help and make guests comfortable. Very well located. A big thank you to Mr. Hitendra Sharma and his team for making it my home of choice in Hyderabad.

Its a Porsche hotel I have ever since visited.Here the service for the customers was good and even the food was also good. Its a best place to spend a memorable evening. We can have a blast of tastes that u have ever eaten. Evey one must visit it.
