The only good thing was a comfortable bed. Pretty sure the owners live there, dog poo in the entry way, they entered our room without our permission. Should have been fully refunded after that violation.

Were told check-in was 4-8 pm. Were at a family function, called let lodge know arrival may be after 8. Were told someone would be at the desk until 9. We arrived about 5 past 9. Said if after 9, walk in and our room would be unlocked with key inside. Arrived 9:05 and not 1 person inside. Desk vacant, restaurant dark, bar, dark and yes our room was open. Not a bad room, but when I booked, site did say breakfast include. Up early, went to get a coffee front breakfast room ... not a person around. No breakfast spread ... restaurant not open ... not a person around. We left at 8:00 and still not a single person to be found. Drove 2 hours before we found a place for breakfast. Yeah ... not my idea of breakfast included.

The website advertised the lodge as a bed and breakfast but they no longer provide breakfast or even coffee. They also claimed a fine dining experience with local and international cuisine but it was pub food such as burgers and wings. Very disappointing .The website should be changed. It is false advertising. Also our outside patio area was in bad shape . There were also several dirty dog poop bags left there even after I complained.

My wife and I booked a room at the 3 pines lodge for 5 nights, we ended up only staying 3 nights because of all the issues, and no we did not get offered a refund. First off, there was no door latch, so staff or lack their of, have uninhibited access to the rooms. Secondly this place was poorly maintained, with dirty walls, extension cords instead of outlets by the bed, trash piled up in stairwell, and outside. The lamp cord was also frayed with live wires exposed beside the bed. The portable AC unit in the room was never cleaned to the point it overheated and melted the plastic on the side of the unit, and the room in general looked so dirty we went out and got sanitary wipes and cleaned it ourselves. Lastly, staff is almost always not available, with no one by the front desk and once staff was finally found and we requested more towels due to the shower leaking water on the floor no towels were brought to the room. Overall I would not recommend anyone stay here, anyone walking or kids running through the hall is incredibly loud in the room and they give out free icecream for 5 stare reviews skewing their rating.

The room was clean and had a super comfortable bed. The facility included a common room, bar and restaurant. The outdoors had a bbq picnic area and a fire pit area. The owner of this establishment is an outstanding guy that went above and beyond to help us and tend to our needs. Our only suggestion would be to have a coffee machine in the room and /or a vending machine in common room. Location is mint-just steps away from the beach and boat launch. We will return and we do recommend.

The room did not match the photos. The room had very few electrical outlets. There was an orange extension cord used. Bathroom was tiny. The balcony looked like it was going to collapse. No breakfast or even coffee. No one at front desk.
