So this trip away was purchased on Scoopon for a birthday present for my partner. We traveled during the September 2017 long weekend and found the place to be rather pleasing. The rooms were set out like a mini apartment with a big bathroom and there was a generous living room space also. The Leisure Inn also had a nice sized pool and also had a dining area where you could dine on weekends. This place is also quite close to the main centre of town and is only across the road from the Tempus Two winery. Really loved this stay, especially for the price and the nice and quite environment.

Great concept, bungalows in an open setting Plenty of Roos Room was expensive at $250 per night Main bedroom was ok but ac unit was temperamental Bathroom was dirty Restaurant decided not to open on the Saturday night leaving few options of eating if you have been wine tasting and couldn't drive Better in the area for the same or less money Try a cottage or guest house at a vineyard or winery

What more can you ask for ! Great price clean nice presentation and a comfortable bed ! Staff friendly and helpful and as for the restaurant awesome cooked breakfast at a great price and the dinner menu even better , nice work chef and your waiting staff so friendly fun and great at there job ! Well priced cocktails just to top things off ! Made it for such a great relaxing long weekend away 👍🏻😀😀😀😀😀

My partner and I booked a weekend away for our first visit to Hunter Valley. We were completely disappointed when we walked into our room. It was dated, old and we were shocked considering the amount of money we paid for it. We actually thought they made a mistake and put us in the wrong room. Queried this with reception - no customer service at all, they didn’t care one bit. Hunter Valley is an amazing place though and luckily that was enough for us to not have our weekend ruined. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Won’t stay here again.

Stayed as a couple in room 80. Couldn’t be happier with our stay. After reading trip advisors reviews which are very hit and miss we kept an open mind and were pleasantly surprised. Room was clean bed was super comfortable and air con was on for our arrival. Check in was easy staff efficient and friendly. Had breakfast in the onsite restaurant $25 for the two of us , poached eggs perfect. Location was amazingly central to all attractions. For the tiny price you pay for a room you get a fabulous deal! Thank you to all the team at Leisure Inn well done.

Booked a last minute get away here for my family of five (3 kids), along with aunty and uncle and gran and pop. We each had a room with a sofa bed so each pair of adults could accommodate a child each. On arrival we were given rooms that were far apart from each other, which we asked to change so that we could all socialise together in the evening on the balcony while the children slept. Our request could not be granted as the place was fully booked and the receptionist couldn't change any rooms around of people who had yet to arrive as they had been booked through third parties. She was very apologetic and as helpful as she could be. We will know in future to specifically request adjoining villas... The villas are a little tired and could do with a revamp; the carpet were a little grubby, the kitchen old and the dining table was sticky were the lacquer was coming off. The balconies/alfresco areas are small and directly next to your neighbour's alfresco area (parted by a half wall) which would make it quite awkward if one of you smoked and the other didn't, or if both were sitting outside at the same time, you could hear eachothers conversation, or if one group was livlier than the other.... Also the rooms are separated only by an internal door so we could hear the couple next door's conversation and tv. So they would certainly have been able to hear my 3 kids! To get to our villa, we also had to walk past our neighbour's alfresco and patio door so had to avert eyes so as to not look into their villa. Apart from these small things, the place was great. The sofa bed is huge and one night, we had all three kids sleep in it after falling asleep watching a movie. The kids loved the pool. It is small and busy but great for the kids to have a cooling dip. We would certainly book again, but would take more time to choose our room. We don't spend that much time in the room anyway, we go and explore the Hunter Valley. So this is a great budget friendly place to stay for the family.

Wanted to take my wife a anniversary romantic place in the vineyards. This place looked great on the internet, but the room was small and felt very dated. Felt very let down when we entered the room. The restaurant serves burgers. It is in a great location and would be fine for a concern stay at one of the nearby vineyards.

We attended a friends' 70th birthday party nearby and many of us stayed at the Inn. The apartments were well laid out and comfortable and clean. The kitchen is small but adequate. The evening after the party we all met by the pool for a BBQ. It was very pleasant and relaxed. We would say there again.

From the moment we arrived it appeared that the staff were just hoping to get through the day. Reception didn't really have any knowledge of the area and its attractions. Staff in the restaurant weren't particularly keen for us to be there ("we're hoping to get away by 8.30" when we walked in at about 7.45). We were aware of being watched and watches being checked during our 'meal'. The meal was similarly disappointing. A gluten-free burger bun is never particularly appetising but this one was atrocious. A bit like eating cardboard. Absolutely no ambience and not a place I'd visit again or recommend unless you are starving and there are no alternatives (which is quite possible in this remote corner of the Hunter!).

The leisure inn is very central and you can easily walk to Hunter Valley Gardens and other wineries for meals. The room was tidy and clean and included a spa! Beautiful scenery surrounding the property as well. The restaurant unfortunately didn't cater well to vegetarian (but not a big deal with so many other places close by). Would definitely stay here again.
