"The hotel is currently under renovations, but they’ve done all the things to make the stay as comfortable as possible. It was pouring rain when we arrived and with the construction you can’t pull right up to the door to unload and a lovely young man offered us umbrellas and assistance while we unloaded our luggage. There were complimentary snacks upon arrival. Everything is new and clean. It all smelled fresh. Our room was superb with an amazing view. The water pressure in the shower was amazing and it was stocked with Dove shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Housekeeping came by daily to refresh our towels and tidy our room. The hotel was only a 5 minute drive from downtown Bar Harbor and dining. I’d definitely stay here again! "
