Beautiful property with very nice owners who were very accommodating-helping us procure bikes, for example. The bathroom floor was not partitioned from the shower so using the shower sprayed water all over the bathroom floor. Also there were 2 windows opening to areas outside the room that couldn’t be completely blocked so the room couldn’t be completely darkened.

Owner happened to be running for political office and had to impose a 11pm curfew on all guests staying for this period for his safety, which was a minor annoyance. Otherwise, he and his staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was nice.

Great Place to Stay

Enjoyed our time in the city, partly due to this lovely B&B. Mr Chen went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of, which we really appreciated. He was very gracious and kind hearted. His place is impeccable. Clean, great location, quiet at night, comfortable beds, great shower and wonderful breakfast. The home made bread was delicious, as well as the welcoming treat and drink. Lolita was also very helpful and friendly. She spoke English, which we really appreciated as we do not speak any mandarin. Had a great stay here. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Nice B&B! Good location! Excellent service. A little expensive when compared to 4star hotel, but has everything you may need! Great if you are looking for a small hotel with a natural breakfast and a personalized service.

A comfy little b&b

This b&b is located a short term minute walk from Hualien train station. It's also a few hundred meters from the main street so it's easy to get food or supplies. We enjoyed Large comfortable room with a double bed, couch Complete with good air conditioning. A breakfast of a sandwich or bagle with fruit was provided each morning. A washing machine with a drying line is also available. Just take note you're required to be in by 2300!

Loved my stay

No frills but excellent location and staff couldn't have done more to make me feel comfortable. Easy walk to train and night market. Room was spacious. Breakfast was delicious and they even sent some cakes along for my day trip to Taroko.

Friendly family hotel

We had a fantastic visit to this hotel. We were greeted on arrival with tea and coffee and cake! The room was very large and like new. The owner gave us all the tips on where to eat and lent us guide books on the Taroko gorge. The hotel is perfectly placed near the train station but also have lots of parking if coming by car. The breakfasts were first class. They even baked a surprise birthday cake for my partner after I had asked them where to go for her special dinner the previous evening! This B&B is amazing value and I highly recommend it!

A Memorable Stay at Little Squirrel B&B in Hualien

The couple who runs Little Squirrel B&B is helpful n pleasant and made our stay comfortable n memorable. They provided us with good suggestion n recommendation for exploring Hualien. Breakfast was delicious n healthy - pumpkin soup, mushroom cereal, freshly baked bread n brewed coffee, greens n fresh cut fruits. Their service i's excellent as they offered to drive us to the nite market on our first nite n drove us to the train station early morning when we left for Kaohsiung. Upon request, they happily packed a chicken sandwich for our lunch on the train.
